Haven't watched it yet, I usually wait until the podcast is out to watch in my own time, but I'd be unsurprised if he hasn't just picked up the same parrot speech every other LNP stooge has. Stop the boats, Labor's debt, intergenerational theft etc.

Thats because successive government's are too afraid to do anything that looks green as it scares the minority of people. Hell down in victoria , a labour governement wanted wind farms. All hell broke loose

They already stopped the boats and all the dead bodies sinking to the bottom of the ocean by discarding Labors "compassionate" policy. The deficit is the single biggest issue facing this nation, however stooges like you are simply rationalise that deficit isn't a problem or that sovereign debt is a special kind of limitless pool of money that doesn't have to be repaid or that government programs like the NBN are the secret to infinite GDP growth, paying down debt and curing AIDS. Part denial, part delusion and part naive optimism.

He just got his arse kicked for not consulting people on basic crap like the knighthood. I'm sure (hoping) after the spill the last thing he would be doing is announcing policies without talking to his party first

SA is doing alright but all states could be doing more.

While not strictly renewables, it's good to see SA having a royal commission into nuclear. From the evidence I've read, I don't think we need it for energy but it will good to see a thorough and unbiased report at the end of the process. Might change my mind on the matter.

you know he parrot the liberal mantra of stop the boats. Repeal carbon tax. I want a government to actually have policies and not slogans and stop blaming labour as they have been in government for the last 17 months now.

If you look past his ridiculous waffle, I think Alan Jones actually made a lot of good points on revenue on qanda,as did Heather.

I thought Bowen performed reasonably well, with Biggs basically displaying all the worst traits of modern politics. Biggs did say one illuminating thing, basically pointing to the fact that nobody is game to move first on GST broadening because of the likely political implications. For all the waste and pork barrelling of Howard, at least he had the stones to take the GST to an election, as Rudd had the stones to take his ETS. Abbott has no such stones, and should really stop comparing himself to Howard.

When Alan Jones is on your side you could listen to him for hours, when he isn't, you think he is the epitome of all that is bad in the world. I respect his desire to protect the farmers, and his stance against the death penalty. Saying the PM, no matter who they may be, deserves the public's support was very surprising coming from him though.

Alan Jones is a classic psychopath.

Superficially charming, narcissistic, predatory, pathological liar, glib, remorseless.

He is not alone, most shock jocks are. Ray Hadley definitely is.

Beware anyone who can charm the pants off you by saying all the right things and holding an audience captive in their web.

The guy preyed on young boys whilst he was a headmaster. Took favourably to the young boys in his football teams he coached. Never listen to any of his politics. The guy ran for the Labor party many years ago. He just lusts for power.

The last paragraph is hearsay from what I understand so I won't comment on it. The rest is spot on.
