The graphs above show two opposing trends, neither of which are surprising. One is that higher income earners are more likely to vote on the right of the political spectrum, and the other is that those with a higher level of education tend to vote on the left of the political spectrum.

Those who are both high income earners and well educated tend to be 50/50.

Yep exactly.

The group of people that fit on the peak of that black line in the non-HS graduate chart are the ones I have the least time for personally :)

Not a fan of low to middle income workers ? I thought the left was looking out for the little guy

Their M.O is to rape the rich and give it to the poor right?

I hate the terms "left wing" and "right wing" in politics. People want to seem clever by labeling something when the reality is much more complex.

"I cant believe that leftie would vote for that!" Its such a nonsense notion. Because you identify with these Ideas you must never agree with those ideas for you are labelled. Conform.

but but draupkick was trying to make a point about republican voters being less intelligent...

the graphic was racist too because it excluded non-whites from the statistics (another marxist trick to skew figures). the explanation given for this is weak.

furthermore how you can surmise that left wing voters are more highly educated from those graphs is a leap of faith

there is a modern trend for some right wingers to self identify too however I see this is largely reactive to the left wing movement

the main difference however is that left wingers operate as a collective and take their talking points and moral positions from a doctrine that is supported and promoted by popular culture. celebrities etc. no one in Hollywood publicly states they support the Republican party if they want to get work.

I dont blame anyone, its the natural order of things

certain people with power get good mileage out of manipulating the masses via their idealism
more often than not the easiest to manipulate are those that subscribe to the leftist ideals as they tend to be less intelligent and less confident in themselves because they seek comfort in the collective

all you have to do is own the collective and you can make them dance to whatever tune you play

Less intelligent in your opinion. I could reply that conservatives are on mass less intelligent as all it takes to sway them is the threat of terror or children overboard.

Conform.

most lefties self identify as lefties and marginalise their opponents as right wing

Its simplistic to think this goes only one way. Both sides do it, but also sweep everyone else up into little labeled jars.

there is a modern trend for some right wingers to self identify too however I see this is largely reactive to the left wing movement

the main difference however is that left wingers operate as a collective and take their talking points and moral positions from a doctrine that is supported and promoted by popular culture. celebrities etc. no one in Hollywood publicly states they support the Republican party if they want to get work.

They're also incredibly hypocritical people. They complain about coal seam gas, oil and mining and yet still use cars, phones, stoves etc.

Fucking hippies.

None of these are modern day hippies - an insult to the real hippies of the past, they had no agenda back in the day due to numb brain dope damage they used to cultivate - then they got "greener"

Hippies is the easier term for "over-educated in one area, expert in every area type of ass-hats who do 5 mins of research and become experts in drilling and geology".

the modern leftist is certainly more militant and not peace loving like the hippies of generations past

this new breed of leftist is more akin to the violent and hateful bolsheviks of the Russian Revolution

Don't be so harsh - they'll consider this abuse and push that therapy will have to be bulk billed in the future.

All I see is convenient boxes and labels for everyone. You are against CSG but drive a car, how dare you hypocrite.
Is it wrong for a person to ask for a better energy creation model than csg. They may recognize its importance right now and know they depend on it right now, but also know in the longer term alternatives must be found.

By pigeon holing people into these Stereotypical categories you yourself are fulfilling a stereotype.
