Edit: good call on more indigenous representation in parliament. Indigenous needs more people to bring up their issues and so that the decision makers have a point of contact to ensure indigenous people have their needs catered for.

What's your policy for saving teh refugees then? You just can't say "oh I dont like those naughty policies from the two major parties", you actually need to come up with an alternative.

That's not what he said. And grazorblade's alternative is pretty much the same as mine. Labor's Malaysia solution also wasn't a bad idea, send the people arriving by boat to Malaysia and bring other refugees in from there. If the Libs actually cared about "deaths at sea" they would have supported a change in legislation that would have allowed that solution to be tried.
