True, but there's a difference between failing a medical at another club and swooping for the player, and having the player fail a medical and signing him anyway. It's hard to say when we don't know why he failed the physical.

Sign Marveaux on a 5 year deal, despite failing his medical, having missed most of last season with injury - AND most of the season 2 years ago with another injury... Yet sell your captain, an established solid performing Premier League player (and Englishman), because he asked for a 5 year deal... Lacks a certain degree of logic, to me.

Yes, but Ba, as far as I know, doesn't have a history of being seriously injury prone like Marveaux has. Played only 10 games last season and only 5 in the 08-09 season. He's only cracked 30 games in a season once.
