I've always thought that this is one particular reason why we should be working with the NRL not against them, clubs can work together to gain better stadium deals. Not that that will ever help/happen in Adelaide...

This. We should be working with them in partnership. Members discounts etc etc. Although the Parra members are freaking out a bit all thinking they are going to lose their club and stadium and we will take over. If they move to ANZ it could happen though.

i hope our derby crowds are not limited the way it happens in melbourne where a 31k technical sell-out equals 26k fans turning up.

Thats the members not turning up though. Lyall has said should the initial derbys go well that they would look at temporary seating for north and south end to expand the capacity. Sounds like an odd idea though. Would have to be substantial temp seating for it to expand capacity. I think he said about 25000 max with temp seating. Lets hope crowd figures for the next 2 seasons are around 15k, then the upgrade i a shoe in.

I think it's more of the fact that everyone in Western Sydney has been screaming for and wanting a football team, whereas the AFL just went and put a team there with the mentality "If we built it they will come, because we have money and power and we can", but they don't realise that not many people care much for AFL in Western Sydney. The Wanderers have the potential to get better crowds than Sydney FC!
