Obviously got a wrong diagnosis. Him and the club confirmed a 6 week groin injury plus having surgery scheduled for today.

God Halitis the man. When he gets some real consistency going, he can be more than a handful for any defence.

First half was 2-0 to wanderers then for the second half it was basically wanderers V Blacktown City U/20's. The keeper that came on for the last 15 mins or so was the city U/16's keeper.
Kwabena Appiah when he came on was top class even though he is still getting over an injury.
The wanderers left back first half looked he would feel more at home in local park division 4 side. Terrible player. If popovic signs him you know something is rotten.
Mooy was ok but held the ball for too long. Too slow for a-league. Will get hammered.
Basically a 2-0 scoreline against what was also the majority of the Blacktown City U/20's side means wanderers will be A-leagues new whipping boys this year. Blacktown had most of the posession throughout the game but didn't have the firepower upfront to capitalise on the possession. Wanderers really only had 2 shots for 2 quality goals.
Definately wouldn't pay to watch the wanderers in a-league this year. (Except to watch kwabena) the rest are very average players with little to no talent.

Wanderers had 5 decent shots for 2 goals. Not 2 shots. Mooy will be just fine in the A-League. Aussiesrus wrote: Definately wouldn't pay to watch the wanderers in a-league this year. (Except to watch kwabena) the rest are very average players with little to no talent.
I'll have NTS (very solid tonight) and Mooy in my fantasy team. Happy for you to just take Kabsy. Does anyone know who the young #17 for Wanderers was (orange boots)? He played really well for the last 30 minutes

I didn't think Bridge was to bad, although it wasn't him up against Major in the first half, it was Haliti out on that side with Elrich. Bridge was on the left. He worked hard, tracked back ok and saved his left back a few times. Bridge? Tracking back? Send me some of whatever that stuff you're smoking. Please! You're killing me here!. Mark Bridge DOES NOT track back. I mean, you ask him what the defensive half of the field is and he'll blank stare you for hours!. You crack a good joke, buddy!

14 was Kabsy. Spoke with him before and after the game and he is still getting over an injury. Will be dynamite when 100% fit.
penrithparty,
5 shots? Your easy pleased. I call it 2 quality shots for 2 goals and the rest were what the feck was that? Wildlife killers...

I was informed the LB was some Uruguayan that was trialling. I think he came straight off the plane or something.
And it was Kubi. I was told that the injury of 6 weeks was bs before kickoff and that he'll get a run in the game
Good to hear.

WTF are you people on about? Did everyone go apeshit when Melbourne had 3 Brazilians on the books?
There's a Croatian player in a few clubs this season.
What a load of bs if people start spouting the whole effnik old soccer crap for WSW. Everyone is talking about how the imports will be a major factor for WSW and now some are trying to stir the pot with their ethnicity. Kinda pathetic if you ask me.
btw, I'm not Croatian, so I don't care what natio these foreign players are. As long as they are good enough and add value to the team.

So who are the people getting the biggest slice of the FFA $$$ budget for wanderers out of the players including coaching staff?
Oh and anyone who doesn't appreciate the might and skills of croatian footballers are racist and pathetic. Wanderers should have many more of them before popovic and milicic have finished their 5 year tenure which will ensure wanderers quality of players and future as the west sydney team reflecting ALL of the cultures of west sydney.
It's your team west sydney!!
