The way I see it, Bale is irreplaceable ATM. If we sold him, we'd be paying the buyout on soldado or benteke, plus get extorted on whichever winger we try to buy next. Plus we'd be back to having only 2 senior wingers in the squad.

I'd definitely take that deal, especially after seeing that lineup. Sure there's no replacing Bale after the season he's had, but he won't be at Spurs forever and they should strike while the iron is hot. That team would also be a lot less dependant on one player. You've also got to remember there's players like Holtby, Defoe, Sigurdsson & Caulker on the bench.

I know it's only sky bet odds, but it might indicate something. Wouldn't say he's definitely gone, but I'm starting to get a little nervous.

I wouldn't think so, he's a quality player who doesn't seem to mind playing an impact/rotation role for us which is rare, plus who knows what will end up happening with Rooney, I'd be inclined to think he might see a fair bit more game time this season.

United would probably willing to talk loan deals for him.
