And I'm not convinced about the surface either. About 20,000 seats are under cover, the other 10,000 exposed to the wet. You're a dickhead or never been there in the rain. Everyone on the bottom tier gets wet. I don't give a shit if its "under cover". The wind swirls and the middle tier cops it as well. I was in tier three for one of the derbies and we coped drizzle at that level as well. Quote:

I can see how the ball moved this season compared to last. I don't need to play on it to see the movement of the ball. It was a fast surface this season. Count the number of balls that hit the turf and just keep rolling over the goal line. I know these are A-League players but the ball keeps its speed. Quote:

I haven't seen them wet it this season. Maybe before I get there, don't know, but the ball doesn't zip through like last season. And its not as lush as the first season. And I said the the surface is flat, no arguments there. Yes I have been to a few matches under rain, I had a reserved seat on Level 3 last season, have you? Of course not because Heart have Level 3 closed off 90% of the time. And yes I have seen the sprinklers on ~20 minutes before the game for just about every MV game, unless the surface is already wet from prior rain and in that case it drains superbly. Were you at Australia vs Saudi Arabia? It rained all game and I barely noticed it, 25,000 people.

Do you read what's posted? All AAMI derbies I've been to have been level 3 because I bring several people with me. Yes the wind can catch the rain and blow it in your face, even up high in level 3. Quote:

No I wasn't. Good for you in level 3. Ask levels 1 and 2 about it. When it rains everyone in level is getting the hell out of there, if they have somewhere to go..

I could see level 1 on the sides were soaked in rain but the majority of the North and South Stands which are also on level 1 were under cover, Level 2 is so minor that it only holds 1000 people, you're arguing that the majority of the stadium is exposed to rain and I'm arguing based on experience that what you say is simply not true. Can confirm that I haven't been effected by rain in the first season at AAMI whilst I was on the wings (Level 1) and last season at North End.

I've been a member with allocated seat at the bottom Level on the East side for the last 2 years, plus watched about 5 games at the 3rd Level and that's my experience:
The East side cops more with the rain than the other parts of the stadium.
Usually because of the wind + rain, all the Level 1 gets wet. Including the seats at the back row on the East side.
When it's raining the West side hardly gets wet, both Level 1 and 3.

The direction of the wind from the south west corner tends to drive the rain across the ground in a diagonal direction, leaving most west side seats nice and dry. :lol:
