If tomorrow is done right it could be one of the best episodes of television ever.

Yeah should cover the major stuff, I still don't think we will see Stannis (in full so to speak), possibly the last scene of the ep to save Jon's skin (although he is defo in the ep according to imdb). Would be a major swerve if Lady Stoneheart makes an appearance. -PB

Book stuff:
WHY THE FUCK WAS LADY STONEHEART NOT THERE? FFS. Also no mention of Tysha but I guess then again she didn't really get mentioned much before.
I really liked the Arya scenes even the Brienne and the Hound scene was good even though it wasn't in the book. The cavalry charge looked sick as well. Good episode except for that omission.

Yeah figured as she wasn't in imdb listing she wouldn't be there. Gotta save something for next season I spose seeing how slow it's gonna get. -PB

-PB Hopefully it gives them a more time to add a little more backstory to it and have a little foreshadowing. The Arya scene was just as good to finish on though I suppose.

I think one of the most monumental moments in series history was glanced over by most people (Obviously MAJOR end of show spoilers):
MELLY SAW JON IN THE FLAMES
JON = AZOR AHAI
R+L=J
[
I much prefer Tyrion's escape in the books. The interchange with Jaime and influence on the characters was much better but you can't put thoughts on the screen. The scene with Tywin was no where near as intense as I expected.
I don't like Vary's leaving either rather than having the idea of him controlling things hidden from sight.
FUCK SAKE C UNTS
IF YOUR POSTING BOOK SPOLIERS FUCKING SAY SO. Not hard to go BOOK SPOILERS before you post in the black.
433 you are such a fuck with this. "Posting saying major end of show spoilers" and then posting shit only book readers would know.
Edited by db-pgfc: 17/6/2014 01:01:20 AM
In less rage induced news what was up with Aryas reaction? Kinda thought see would of had some emotion towards the hound .

Edited by db-pgfc: 17/6/2014 01:03:43 AM Read the first page. The only things that have to be blacked out are book spoilers. If it's blacked out don't read it.

Not a book spoiler:
I imagine things would be clearer in the book but that Tyrion escape was so rushed and we get no explanation of how he ends up in his fathers room, I initially thought it was a fantasy sequence as it was such a bizzare and ill explained turn of events
Edited by fredsta: 17/6/2014 12:52:08 PM Yeah, was a bit weird and rushed. I didn't like the deviation of motive from the book. Book spoilers:
The reveal that Tysha wasn't actually a whore, and that Tywin had manipulated the situation and sent her to "wherever whores go" is what prompted Tyrion to pull the trigger and is one of the most powerful scenes in the books I have read so far
I guess when you have an episode so full of powerful scenes in such a pivotal season, it's easy to gloss over something that should have really been a big moment for showing the depths of Tywins selfishness.

bomberboy wrote:There is a scene in episode 2, where Cersei ponts out to Tywin that Shae is Tyrions whore. Tywins response is to have her brought to the tower of the hand after the ceremony, but there is nothing said about it at all. That could be where it was all concocted.

I watched episode 8, 9 and 10 last night. Episode 8 destroyed me, the eyes and his screams argggg.
Also just to clear things up on spoilers, if it has happened on the most recent episode, it doesnt have to be blacked out, basically don't come in here if you haven't watched the most recent episode.
I think I've made that pretty clear on the first page.

IGN have an article up about why Lady S wasn't shown (although they don't mention Cold Hands which is kinda annoying). -PB

Edited by fredsta: 17/6/2014 12:52:08 PM Well he did use to live in the hand of the kings room , plus in like season 2 varys gave him all the info about the secret tunnels. The ease of walking around in plain site was a bit stupid though. Did anyone else believe Tywin when he said he wasn't going to let him die or was he just trying to save himself? Could of been the mastermind behind the escape. Clutching at straws there though. book spoiler.
The whole Jon Snow flame thing was awesome though. Already know all about that due to a book reader friend.
Edited by db-pgfc: 17/6/2014 05:25:55 PMThey also did a really bad job of explaining that the black dragon has fucked off. Have always been under the presumption they just fly about and come back. Edited by db-pgfc: 17/6/2014 05:26:49 PM
