Congrratulations to Peter Dinklage (Tyrion), Lena Heady (Cersei), and Emilia Clarke (Danny) for receiving Emmy nominations.

TBH though I can't for the life of me work out how Emilia gets nominated, Peter and Lena are fantastic but Emilia is one of the weakest on the show IMO.

Also very weak in Terminator Genisys - totally unconvincing no matter how pretty she might be.

Probably been discussed here before, but for those of you who read the books, who do you think was The Mystery Knight of the Harrenhal Tourney? I'm just finishing a Storm of Swords Part 1, and it seems 'obvious' that Howland Reed was the knight of the laughing tree, but it could also have been Benjen Stark, Ned Stark or even Lyanna (I think?), I don't recall if she watched him compete.

Anyone find the rebellion history almost more interesting than the actual storyline?

On the acting, Emilia Clarke was only ever a replacement. In the unaired pilot episode, she wasn't Dany. Whoever cast Sansa needs to be castrated, worst actor ever.


Watching season 1 for the 3rd time, and I STILL don't understand why Ned Stark takes responsibility for arresting Tyrion. Shit would never have hit the fan if he'd just said that Catlyn did it without his knowledge.

Kinda the whole point of the character and how his honour is always a hindrance. He's never going to allow his wife to take the fall.

It wasn't necessarily lying though. Ned obviously believed Caitlin had captured Tyrion for a good reason.

I pray to Foals that they do a Tower of Joy flashback.still the best part of all of GoT and we know bugger all about it.
