I'd like to see her burn half of westeros to the ground, and as she settles on the iron throne, the night king stabs her through the back. The show ends with him riding the black dragon into the eastern horizon.

Which of the follow characters do people think will be alive at the end of the show? Jaime, Cersei, Margaery, Sansa, Arya, Jon, Daenerys, Tyrion, Bran, Davos, Littlefinger, Varys, Brienne, Theon, Ramsey, Samwell and Missandrei

End of the very last episode?
That's so hard to say as you'd think most of them are so important to the storyline that you can't see them not in it until the end. That said, I'd expect Jon, Daenerys, Littlefinger and Varys to survive. Arya, Tyrion and Samwell maybe. The rest gone.

On its own, Mereen would've made an amazing showstopper given what we've had before.
But it simply opened for the rest. Fuck this was a 10/10 episode

Surely Sansa could have given Jon a bit of a fucking heads up that a massive army was coming to help them. I swear half this show could have been avoided if she wasn't a simpleton.

Either Sansa wants to take over from Jon and be the leader of the north or she is rather stupid. Either way if I was Jon I would be asking a lot of questions and they would not be polite. It was a brilliant episode, I am sure there has not been better on the show although there are some that have also been brilliant.

If Sansa told Jon he would have insisted on waiting for there arrival. Ramsey would have seen Jons forces match/surpass his own and would have retreated inside winterfell. Where it's said 500 men can defend against 10,000.

Or they could have stayed behind the hill and Jon could have acted a little bit more conservatively knowing they had some backup instead of getting 90% of everybody killed

I'll rewatch the episode tomorrow. I really liked how they went for a gritty feeling with the combat. I'm pretty into combat, especially medieval combat, and a lot of it is so over the top as expected for a fantasy piece and that was no different today, but fucking hell they got the misery and battlefield conditions down pretty well at a lot of points.
Now all that's really left for this season is for Brienne to reveal that Stannis is still alive. Sad to see Ramsay gone. I love that cunt.

Holy shit. The Battle of Winterfell was one of the best medieval battle scenes i've ever seen on either television OR film, period. Incredible work on so many levels, never seen anything like that before. Groundbreaking stuff.

Shoutout to Rickon, gone too soon. If only he was gifted with the joys of dialogue before his untimely demise.
And when did the Greyjoys develop the technology to allow their ships to travel at warp speed?? Incredible stuff

Sansa: Why don't you listen to me, I may have ideas? Jon: Ok, what? Sansa: There's an army of Vale knights coming, they'll be here tomorrow. All you have to do is stall for 30 minutes and thousands of your men will be saved.
Instead we got sullen silence and le epic Rohirrim twist.
Also more "le women in a world of men xddd" from Dany and Yara.

My God that ending was satisfying. I literally flipped off at Ramsey's face when he saw the Vale coming
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

Or Jon could engage conservatively instead of an all out charge, wait for Ramseys men to commit themselves then swoop in with cavalry. Ramsey had no idea the Vale was coming, there were so many better ways Sansa could have played it.

What seemed really moronic was that Sansa was literally lecturing Jon about how he didnt have a big enough army to go into battle, all while not telling him that she had summoned another entire army.
Also, are we really supposed to believe that in all this time Davos is still completely oblivious about what happened to Shireen??? That is some bullshit.
