Won 3-2 today. Completely unexpected. Based on pre-season Hatstats, this guy was much better than me. I didn't realise my team had improved that much with transfers, finishing 3rd this season is now an utterly real possibility.

Think i just overpaid by about 600k for a trainee, 2.6 mil for a 17 y.o 3 days IM with Solid(exc this week)pm, passable def, passable scoring, and head specialty, i had about 20 seconds left with a bid of 1.9 mil and some prick bid 2.5 mil.

Now, I've just had a thought. With the 2 Groups, it's possible that instead of Bye's we have the two free teams from each group play each other. So first round will be Raiders vs Afroman FC, etc. This way the teams play 7 matches instead of 6. Yes, No?
