Tomic played well, seemed pretty humbled by the occasion of victory which was surprising but it's good to see some emotion, handled himself pretty well post game too, maybe there's hope yet.
I know I've gone on a bit lately about how I'm a converted Hewitt fan and how he's changed, but today I was really impressed with the way he handled himself in victory, did the customary thanking of the staff and sponsors but made it very personal and heartfelt and he was incredibly graceful in victory towards del Potro. He was very smooth with the way handled the mic though, we've already seen him do a good job in the commentary box and provide great insight into the game, but the maturity and authority he displayed today makes me think he could enjoy a very successful media career when he finally calls an end to his playing days.

Ebden is up 6-4, 7-6 against Youzhny. Could be a big upset there.

I played Tomic in a state tournament when I was 16. I claimed 3 games off him in 2 sets and even then he was an arrogant c*nt. I hope to hell he is never successful. His attitude is poor and people had the nerve to have a dig at Pat Rafter for putting the arrogant little twat in his place.
Novac is looking solid again. 3-0 win against a decent first round opponent.

What's more retarded is the commentators' pronunciation of some off the names Cibulkova is apparently pronounced "see-bull-koh-va"

And after all that build-up over his form, Hewitt goes out in straight sets. 7-6, 7-6, 6-3.
