Federer has not been as clinical as expected tonight. He seems rather complacent. The usual Federer would be taking a shower right now given the amount of break points he's had.

I think part of that is down to Tomic pulling out some great rallies and partly down to Federer being a little nonchalant. It does look a lot like he's toying with Tomic in some points. I mean, that rally in the break point where he approached the net, lifted the ball over and put it in the back left corner showed he can switch it on when he feels like it.

That's actually really poor form from Ch 7. What is stopping them from showing it live?

Simon's gone through more tissues in this match than most horny 13 year olds go through in a week

Gael takes the 4th 6-1 and Simon looks knackered. Maybe a virus judging by the amount of tissues he's gone through. Stange match.

Simon and Monfils last night was epic.
Also, at Wally Massus on Fox Sports  He was sayig that if Tomic had beaten Federer, he could probably go on to beat Raonic, Tsonga and Murray and then make it to the final.

Ivanovic out, Nooooo!!!!
Her and Jelana Jankovic really have dropped off a bit recently. Seems to me that these girls who lack power are starting to drop away in favour of the heavy hitters.

My night just keeps getting worse. :( Ivanovic has been improving lately she got the yips a while back but she's looked much better in the past couple of months.

Wow. This backhand from Wawrinka is close to the best I have ever seen. Definitely better than Fedex, at least as good as Sampras.

Yeah, Wawrinka has easily the best backhand in world tennis, it's just nuts. His technique and control is superb, but he doesn't have the versatility of Federer's backhand. Looks like Djokovic has woken up a little. This could be a late one.

It's amazing how much psychology has impacted Wawrinka's game. His self belief has died and let Novak take over.

The final point in that tie-break was just outstanding from Wawrinka. On the attack from the outset and didn't put a foot wrong. Very very interesting 5th set coming up.
