Wow Azarenka to play Stephens in the first round, with the winner most likely to play against Wozniacki in the second round, crazy section of the draw.

Sensational stuff by Kokkinakis! It could be 6 aussies into the second round if Nick Kyrigios wins his match.

While I admire kei nishikori's physical game style, one has to question his longevity in the game the way he plays the game
And how much petrol he would ever have at the tail end of a grand slam to win any?

Hewitt/Zhang + Tomljanovic/Rogers is a really shitty line-up for the night session on Rod Laver.

Nobody's forcing you to watch it! I did watch what channel 7 had to offer, I watched Monfils/Pouille on 7two. Plus I could have gone online to watch other matches on Channel 7's website, their coverage is actually very good in terms of the amount of courts covered this year. Channel 7 has nothing to do with it. My point was that I don't understand how the tournament organisers come to the conclusion that those two matches were the two flagship matches of the day, worthy of the centre court night session. I wouldn't be very satisfied with that line-up if I'd bought a ticket to Rod Laver last night. Edited by gooner4life_8: 21/1/2015 01:07:52 PM

Dunno how Sharapova got herself out of that Just shows why shes such a champion player, unbelievably composed, whereas Panova just choked towards the end. Kyrgios, Kokkinakis & Groth all on now. Kyrgios takes first set against Karlovic. Edited by Roar_Brisbane: 21/1/2015 06:25:52 PM

And how much petrol he would ever have at the tail end of a grand slam to win any? Fair call. But Fed won't be around for much longer & Nadal will battle injuries for the rest of his career. Djokovic won't win everything so their will be chances for Murray, Nishikori, Wawrinka, and Dimirtrov in the next few years.

Kyrgios now up two sets to love, would be very tough for Karlovic to win here.

Kyrgios wins, think theres a huge chance that we'll have two Aussies in the Fourth round.

I can't believe I actually watched Tomic win a game. I was certain that he was incapable of keeping his shit together long enough to finish a match

I swear almost all of the women matches I've watched have been very up and down, even Serena and Sharapova have been struggling.
Looks like I'll miss the Wozniacki and Azarenka match tonight. :(

And tricky nicky has copped a good ol fashioned code violation in his doubles match this evening on team souvlaki
He hit his racquet on the umpires chair after the pairing surrendered the first service game of the final set
Looks like tricky nicky comes from the david warner school of humility in terms of crossing the line between swagger and hubris

Come home to watch the end of a replay to the Monfils match. Classic Monfils really, very frustrating one of a handful of guys good enough to win a Grand Slam but just can't get his shit together.
