He was having an average season in Japan. He had a good season last year but this season he struggled to make an impact, suddenly he's sent to the middle east and can't stop scoring. Want anymore proof the middle eastern leagues are a hell of a lot weaker, there is your proof.

DeVere (Gyeongnam) just played in the Korean FA Cup final against Pohang. Pohang won 1-0 with a goal in the 120th minute.
