playmaker11 wrote:Anyone know what Ruka's situation is? I'm sure he picked up an injury around the time of the Korea friendly but he looked fine against Romania. He hasn't made it into a match day squad since late November and he's never had a run with the second team in the Regionalliga. I believe his contract is until mid-2015. I did read that Mainz wanted to add some things to his game so hopefully another off season might do the trick Mind u the currentMainz squad is doing very well and it might be beyond him I fear

He's gone to the team that's coming first in League 2. Might make it hard to break into the first 11 since it's only a 1 month deal. Hopefully he can get some game time and impress so that his next loan is in a better league.

Just watched highlights of Man U v Reading. Looked like Fed had a blinder including a brilliant double save.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Watched Palace against Borough yesterday. Both Jedi and Williams controlled midfields of their teams. Would love to see those two together in the Socceroo's mid with Rojic in front. Asian cup maybe.
...........Rojic ....Williams.....Jedi

Its been a bumper season for aussies abroad with a half dozen youngsters breaking in the first team this year and another half dozen coming in and out of the first team
If next year is as good as this year then blue skies are ahead aren't they

Anyone know how many goals Porta has scored this season? Seems like things have gone very, very quiet around him lately.

Watched Shalke v Fortuna. Kruse was sorely missing, particularly in the first half. Didn't realise Patterson-Sewell was in the Primeira Liga. Good stuff.

Oar and Zullo should hopefully be starting against Roda. Kick-off in an hour.

Zullo I think will be starting at LB, given the regular player is out. Oar will be behind the strikers, mostly likely drifting onto the left side in a free range role.

The game is about to start! They are apparently playing a diamond midfield with Oar on the left.

Number 11 for Utrecht nearly scores, but the GK just gets a hand on it.
