Utrecht losing to a club from Luxembourg ffs...
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Ryan played the full match against Wolfsburg in front of a large home crowd. Sounds like he had a good game and continues to impress with his distribution.

Holland starting in the season opener against Admirer. Hopefully he can play out of skin leading up to the summer transfer window - his team mate Philipp Hosiner will be snapped up by a German club for good dollars so plenty of eyes will be on the team.

Ryan v Wolfsburg http://vimeo.com/70680655Luzern down 4-2 at HT but Bozanic has scored both and is so far their best player. Edited by playmaker11: 21/7/2013 04:32:07 AM

Leckie won't play tomorrow due to his broken thumb. Maybe Halloran will feature for Ddorf on Monday. After the first few games this weekend; the Bundesliga 2 has really shown to be a strong league. A great weekend of games so far at a high level.

Bozanic seems to have started off quite well at his new club, fantastic to see! We need more competition for Socceroo spots so hopefully he has a big season.

A Great start by Bozanic at his new club in Switzerland!
Who's to say that a a-league player cant walk into a Swiss Club and already make a impact? hey Mr Scotty Chipperfield? ;)
Interesting that Amini has been left out of the squad completely, i wonder what has happened over there with him? :-k

Both Bozanic goals were headers, did not seam to cut in either so he may not be playing wide which I was assuming
Randomly found the Full Celtic vs Cliftonville game on youtube. Rogic comes on at 1:10:30

Also some other news I have seen. Ruka has missed their last few pre-season games with back pain,
Watching the Celtic game Rogic is an attacking mid and a tweet which I am surprised hasn't been posted here from their friendly this morning:
From the Official Celtic twitter NL on Rogic: Behind the strikers is probably his best position. I'd like to think we'll see more of him there. He's adapting to our game.(LB)

Alex Wilkinson playing against Lyon (in Lyon). Perhaps something for A-League clubs to aim for in future. Bozanic goals Edited by playmaker11: 21/7/2013 09:51:03 PM

He needs to play his best position and play it frequently. I cannot believe it took Lennon this long.

Oddly enough, whenever he has been played in behind the strikers he has received great reviews from Lennon, the media and supporters.. Defs would have helped his development playing deeper even if its just to gain confidence and understanding of his team mates

Hopefully with a pretty comfy lead Rogic will get some good game time and Irvine possibly off the bench late on
