He just got an assist. Goal scorer still had plenty to do but Leckie did very well to hold the ball up and lay it off to him.

Leckie is totally alert 14m from goal and gets to the ball first in a 50/50 and pokes it through for his teammate to score! well done. Holger better be watching!

How did he play, apart from the assist? I hope Matty kills it this season, I loved watching him at united!

Wilkinson had a really good game. His current manager is Choi Kang Hee (ex Korea NT). Lowry starting for Millwall Edited by playmaker11: 10/8/2013 11:25:12 PM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Played well and looked dangerous but stuffed up a one on one after doing all the hard work. On another day he could have had a couple of more assists. PS. Bozanic got voted player of the month by Swiss fans. http://www.blick.ch/sport/fussball/superleague/trotz-5000-stimmen-aus-aegypten-id2400959.htmlEdited by Higashi: 11/8/2013 12:24:15 AM

yeah great Kruse didn't see a minute and Sam and Son scored. Perfect for Kruse to keep his place on the bench at Neverkusen. This club ruins careers!

Langerak had a solid game and made a couple of good saves. His only fault (the only one I can recall) was misreading a ball in from a corner. Plenty of his team mates were very sloppy in possession but they eventually got into a rhythm and made it a great 4-0 win.

Dylan McGowan starting for Hearts. Bozanic starting for Luzern. Ryan starting for Brugge. Had a 50/50 feeling he might get dropped after the mid-week game. Glad his manager is showing faith. Edited by playmaker11: 11/8/2013 09:14:05 PMEdited by playmaker11: 11/8/2013 09:27:46 PM

Dylan McGowan with the assist for Hearts goal in a 1-0 win. Those two brothers (Dylan and Ryan) are going to save that club on their own nearly. Ryan was amazing for them and important in their cup win, then left helping Hearts have some money and also offered to buy a season ticket for every thousand sold and give it top fans who can't afford him. Dylan has showed faith in staying and is now a vital part of their team. Also should Dylan be in contention to get a chance at RB for the socceroos, he is playing in the same league as Rogic and getting a lot more time. I know that gap between Hearts and Celtic is like Hull and Man U but still. Also here is the Hearts goal reported on a minute by minute by the BBC Quote:GOAL- Hearts 1-0 Hibs (Paterson 70mins) We have a goal and what a goal it is to break the deadlock in the first Edinburgh derby of the season. Dylan McGowan whips in a sumptuous cross and Callum Paterson rises above the Hibs defence to power a header past Ben Williams.
Hearts boss Gary Locke celebrates with a dance and double fist pump in the technical area. Tynecastle is bouncing...

I'm sure someone has already mentioned this but can't be bothered checking... Was just browsing through some 3.Bundesliga stuff and noticed Milos Degenek played 14' for Stuttgart II on 26 July. Was on the bench a week before that against Dortmund II. Last season he played 24 games in the U19 league. 19 years old so perhaps one to keep an eye on. Also played 40 minutes at the 2011 U17 World Cup in Mexico. He's on the bench in their match against Hansa Rostock now.

Pretty sure Degenek is the one that we might lose to his other nationality, played in a lot of youth teams for Australia but has recently started playing for the youth teams for Serbia? At least I think its Serbia

I didn't remember seeing it here but he is one that we have a good chance of losing to Serbia. Could have possibly have gone to that COTIF cup which is currently on to try and sway him back. Here it a tweet from awhile back which is a few days after he already player for Serbia U19 so I don't know if it is referring to him committing to Serbia completely or it is just referring to youth football still. Hopefully it was a Rhys Williams situation where he was happy to play for them but after the national anthem and all that he knew he wants to play for Australia.
Serbian Football @SerbianFooty 10 Apr After Milos Degenek and Richairo Zivkovic, 16 yearold Atletico Madrid midfielder Matija Spoljaric has agreed to play for Serbia

Matt Ryan aso just conceded, hopefully it wasn't his fault and he had played well up to then
Tommy Oar played 82 minutes for Utrecht, they are 2-0 down 87th minute, Zullo not in the squad again and Sarota still injured

Partly to blame but mostly a bad defensive lapse. Came off his line, made himself big but opposition striker dinked it over and another player tapped it in from about 30cm out.

Should note he did make some very decent saves and overall he played a nice solid game. It was good to see him bounce back after having shocker against Slask Wroclaw. PS. Was also good to see the Club Brugge fans cheer whenever the team passed back to him. Guessing their previous keeper must have been pretty bad with the ball. Edited by Higashi: 12/8/2013 01:17:51 AM

Overall solid, can't see him losing his spot anytime soon. Well they were also trialing an U20 Ghanaian keeper a couple of weeks back so may really be looking at life after their senior keeper. Also his ability on the ball may be another big bonus seen quite a bit when looking at older keepers replaced by younger ones currently. Elsewhere Holland played the full 90 vs Rapid Wien. Since his position is so deep a clean sheet normally indicates he did well but at the same time they were a man up from the 27th minute
