A couple of times he has pulled 3 or 4 full games together and then been out of the squad alltogether He was put in the squad from another player being dropped and not an injury so should stay in if he stays in form. In their first two games without him they conceded 3 both games vs Vitese (8th) and PEC Zwolle (1st) and lost both 3-1. Since he has come in they have won 4-2 vs Heerenveen and drew 1-1 vs PSV (2nd) which were the first points PSV have dropped. He could have done better for PSV's goal though. So results have improved since he came in so I would say there is a good chance of him staying in for the time being but there is competition from Christian Dorda a 24 year old German. Whoscored.com has averaged his rating (whoscored does ratings on stats only) at 6.97 compared to Dorda's 6.31. Davidson seems to be better going forward than Dorda and his best attribute for him staying in over Dorda is his 79.6 (39/49) pass accuracy compared to 65.2 (43/66).

Logic Neanderthal, not your strong point. How's Jade North going?? You still want him in the Socceroos?

No problems I just grab stuff from whoscored which is great for the leagues they do in detail and I am a stats nerd so I enjoy it. Will be interesting with Rogic + Holland getting their stats followed in Europe (they do the UCL and Europa but only starting at the group stages) anyway in other non-really-news news Brugge's 3rd choice keeper is out for 4 months, doubt it will effect Ryan's year unless he punches the coach in the face he might still need to be put on the bench. http://m.sporza.be/cm/sporza.mobile/m_voetbal_belgie/1.1713809

Nice! Austria Wien up 1-0 after 4 mins. That's almost CL qualification for Holland.

you nearly fucked up there nearly celebrating 4 minutes in. did you watch the game? if so how did Holland look?
Federici conceded 6 to a league 1 side so don't expect to see him much this season.

a year and a half ago Federici was having a great season in the champions and I thought we will have two keepers playing regularly in the EPL, 2012/2013 could be the year that he catches up to Schwarzer and then he could be ahead at for the 13/14. I was guessing he might be our top keeper for Brazil. Now he is unlikely to make the squad. What happened?

Going by what information I can get from the Reading website, it seems Fed wasn't directly at fault for any of the goals and actually pulled off some good saves.

Federici had a fine game looking at the Reading forum. Would've been double without him apparently.

Federici needs to make a move before the transfer deadline. Shame to see him warm the pine, he could easily be number one at a Championship club or number one in another decent European league.
Problem is that he signed a long term deal (5 years, I believe) when the club was promoted to the EPL, and I am quite sure he would be the top or close to top earner at the club. Reading wouldn't be willing to pay him out and he probably isn't willing to take a huge wage cut to get first team action.
I think the band aid solution for all parties is a season-long loan to an overseas club to cover all/most/some of his wages.

Only managed to see the first half of the Vienna match. Zagreb were all over them, Holland didn't really stand out but did OK. I thought that was a Simunic own goal on 4'. Pretty funny considering... Edited by playmaker11: 28/8/2013 04:32:06 PM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Wilko made it to the "Weekly Best XI" for last week. Also he is starting against FC Seoul in about 30 minutes.

I wonder if Holger and Aurelio will be "scouting" the match. Someone should tell them it's on.
