Wilko played another full game for Jeonbuk in their 1-1 draw against FC Seoul. A decent game by him, didn't make too many mistakes. (Only one, iirc, he misread a cross which led him to head the ball in a weird direction.)

Vidosic in his new kit. First training session today http://www.lematin.ch/sports/football/dario-vidosic-fc-sion-c-desormais-officiel/story/15030015 Halloran scored in a Dusseldorf friendly and scored but there were only about 3 1st team regulars playing and it was mostly the first team bench + some reserves it seems. It was also against a 5th division side so won't be seen as that great but I am guessing it was the first team manager so if he played well it will help a bit. http://www.rp-online.de/sport/fussball/vereine/fortuna/erwin-hoffer-trifft-bei-debuet-fuer-fortuna-1.3635881Mainz is trying to get rid of Ruka but there are no rumours on where he will go, suggestions of loan move. http://www.allgemeine-zeitung.de/sport/top-clubs/mainz-05/13391876.htmQuote:Nikita Rukavytsya : For the attacker to offset the amateurs there are loose inquiries from the second division and abroad. I watch the majority of celtics games and constantly feel that they lack players with quality technique, touch and creativity. Only problem is whenever Tom plays he seems like he is too timid or doesn't look like he plays to their system, irrespective of opponent. He's definitely good enough to be playing with them or in champions league, it's infuriating he can't even get a good string of games

For years now our Aussie players have had the piss taken out of them after signing at a new club. Leckie, Rogic, Holman etc made the move, had the manager make very positive comments, had articles written about their new 'star' only to see them given a handful of games and be nearly forgotten. I'm glad players like Holland, Bozanic and hopefully Vidosic are at clubs that seem to appreciate the talent and work ethic our players offer.

:-" If he was a Leeds Youth/Reserve instead of Newcastle, they would take him now in a heartbeat (given how many former Leeds players are there now).

I wonder if there is any chance of Gallifuoco playing tonight. I could not find anything on Europa league squad submissions and the tie is virtually over so I could see it even if it is very unlikely. He has been training with the first team which is a good start and looking at Spurs list if they are choosing 2 CDMs you have Sandro probably as he only played two minutes last weekend and needs match fitness. After that though then the other 3 best CDMs (Paulinho, Dembele, Capoue) all started so AVB might give it to a youngster. Last yeat you would have Huddelstone or Livermore but they are both gone. Carroll and Holtby are above Gallifuoco but they might be too attacking and if so Gallifuoco could be next in line. Also does anyone know if he can play CB? I could see Kaboul playing with Vertonghen and Dawson rested and Chiriches isn't ready yet so there could be a youth player there. From https://twitter.com/SpursOfficialQuote:Andre: 'We want to give a chance to a couple of the younger players. The most important thing is to ensure we are there for the group stage' Now there has been nothing on this and it is a very small chance he will even make the bench but still being 5-0 up going into a home leg you are going to be confident and I like being optimistic on overseas Aussies. I doubt many expected Good to get a full game last night.

I think it's time for Ruka to come back to the A-League. If he can work under a good manager and flourish (which we'd all hope and expect of him), he should be able to regain his confidence and head back to Europe again.

Anyone heard anything regarding Ersan Gulum contemplating changing allegiances back to Australia? He has been starting and playing full games at left back this season for Besiktas. Turkey doesn’t look much hope of getting to Brazil and we don’t look much hope of getting a LB to play in a quality league any time soon.

He'd be like signing a marquee for the NT.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Halloran has made it into the Dusseldorf squad for their game against Bielefeld. Highly unlikely he'll get any minutes but, for now, great news anyway.

Rogic needs to get out of Celtic in the January transfer window. Not being utilised properly, got 10 minutes off the bench at right mid..

I am seeing an increasing amount of rogic-hate from non-aussie celtic fans on twitter. It seems Lennon wants to use him as a utility sub - which isn't so great for us. Would like to see him go on a four-month loan to another European club but not sure if he'd be willing to miss the opportunity to play in the champions league.

Vidosic starting for Sion. What is it with Aussies playing with the #23?
