Halloran's starting in a friendly against a 3.Liga side. Playing the first 45 is usually a good sign.

Looks liked he played a full game and had a big hand in the 1st goal clearing to their new striker.

After it was shortly before kickoff for the 22 players and the 1100 spectators, thanks to a rain shower, the desired cooling, the first and only goal came after 19 minutes. Ben Halloran , who acted both on the right and on the left offensive side, in acute distress had to beat the ball out of their own half, which led to the celebrity to 1:0. Fortuna's latest addition Aristide Bance had used the clearance of the Australian right for himself and sat down with his massive body through against the defender. The national team of Burkina-Faso moved with speed and ball directly toward the goal of Münster and was able to overcome the goalkeeper Max Schulze Niehues with a flat and placed shot into the left corner

Also Frankfurt play a friendly tonight against Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt. Leckie has been used as the face of the poster promoting the game and the official site put out an expected squad and have Ruka on the bench. He should get a chance and it will be a great chance to stake a claim to a starting spot

Amini came on in the 89th minute in a Dortmund II friendly against Leverkusen II. probably would have played more but Kehl from the first team dropped down and started in his spot.

Leckie and Ruka starting in their friendly.

Luongo playing for Swindon now. Never seen him play much, gonna see how he goes.
Wins a free kick outside the box, team mate scores. 1-0
Impressive first half (apart from one careless mistake in attack). Match reminds me of the A-League, barely any long balls either.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

if anyone wants to post this article that would be great.

it seems to be a Spanish site doing a scout report on Oar. He retweeted the link.

Tommy Oar advocating for his country

In the past South Africa World Cup 2010 , Australia had a starring role in group D , but ultimately missed out on the first stage after tying on points with Ghana. The fault had its world debut in the competition , which came thrashing of Germany and that cost him second place and the classification due to golaverage .

That selection had men like Tim Cahill , Harry Kewell , Emerton and others who will not reach age the next World Cup Brazil 2014 and there are several young players Australians should take the baton and to revive your selection. One of them is this guy that I speak today , Tommy Oar .
In fact , Oar and was shortlisted for travel to South Africa , when still had only 18, but was eventually discarded by the Australian coach .

That same year he left the A- League Eredivisie way to change his home club , the Brisbane Roar to FC Utrecht.
The first season was not easy for the young Oar , playing more than a dozen games in his adaptation to Europe between league and European competition. Neither the Sub'20 world of Colombia finished giving you the choice of either Australia , although FIFA chose his goal from a free as the best of the tournament.

This last season with FC Utrecht has been the consolidation , showing rapid and incisive on the left side of the Dutch team . It has enjoyed more confidence and Utrecht has noticed . If you still performing at a similar level undoubtedly be part of the next generation of Australia in the next world if classified .

Oar is a player low ( 1.70 ) , electric and very fast. It closed lefty , but has scored even a goal with his right.
He is a player with a good one on one and with a good run usually use either reaching baseline or from further back and threaded .

It has always been blamed to be more regular in his game, something very common in the extreme , but this last season in the Utrecht has shown best qualities and that he was required regularly . No doubt the highlight of Tommy Oar is vertical. When you receive the ball does not hesitate to start the race , both from the side and the diagonal drawing inward , but rather than seeking positions usually always shot the band to focus search .

The truth is that it is a player with excellent conditions , especially their speed but would have to check their progress in the Eredivisie to see if it shows up prepared to make the leap to a higher league , something only achieved if takes gallons and displays more regular . Today, you must continue to learn to become a better player. It will be one of those charged with hitting a facelift to the Australian senior team and we have to keep track of this fast and often extreme.

Some nice stuff there, sliced through the middle easily.

Carney, in the first half highlights, got caught out pretty badly a couple of times. But, really, will see how he goes.

While I'm not much of a Carney at LB fan, I agree with thupercoach. If he is the only other guy that Holger is going to be picking, I'd prefer him over McKay...

Dusseldorf's coach seems to be getting similar criticisms to Holger in playing badly while at the same time leaving out youth. This seems to suggest Halloran would be one of the first ones in as he is young, playing well and is not in a vital position. Also refers to Kruse though in how he had a full year pretty much to settle before jumping straight into the Bundesliga virtually

http://www.wz-newsline.de/lokales/duesseldorf/sport/fortuna-duesseldorf/jugendwahn-hilft-fortuna-nicht-1.1421273

Quote:
Dusseldorf . Fortuna Dusseldorf has according to their own standards after six games in the second Bundesliga too few points (7) on the account. Bad luck, injuries, wrong referee decisions and weak form of service providers are explanations. Louder and louder the voices, Mike Büskens insinuate the wrong personnel policy. So much so, that Fortune's coach is accused of not having the courage to put on more young players.

Büskens was begun with the proviso next to the objective in the table above predictions, develop young players. That usually accumulate in key positions older players with experience, also is due to the fact that the talents are not partially able to fulfill the expectations that might put some optimists in it.

This applies to Ben Halloran (21) as before his Australian compatriot Robbie Kruse must settle at least a year in German professional football (24). The potential exists, the assertion has yet to develop.

Some pretty unprofessional stuff going on twitter from our boys in China.

It is fairly unprofessional, and i dont condone it. However the coaching methods they seem to be using over there are prehistoric. McBreen tweeted just before that they had been doing sprints and running constantly. Top football departments around the world have recognised that you need to have the ball at your feet all the time not just do laps of the oval. This is especially important with players of a younger age, like Ibini. This is the tweet:
