Halloran started in a friendly, all goals were scored early in the game. Good signs under the new manager.

This article seems interesting though. Not sure if negative or what, sounds pretty harmless. Any German speakers able to clarify?

http://www.rp-online.de/sport/fussball/fortuna/koestner-pfeift-ben-halloran-zusammen-aid-1.3953022

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

You can see it on the scorer's face. After he scored it he couldn't believe how good the ball was and ran straight for Kruse. That was one of the best balls I've seen.

I haven't seen anything on him being looked ta for a move but Davidsons contract expires at the end of the season. I am expecting he will renew it but could be interesting if he goes into the world cup looking to put himself in the shop window for a move.

Quote:
Heracles more contracts expire. Similarly, the defenders Ben Rienstra and Jason Davidson after a free transfer.

Wesolowski scored for Oldham in a 1-0 win. Would he have ANY chance of making the Roos squad? I really hope he is a late bloomer and gets a Championship gig. Such a shame with his injuries in the past. Once Bresc retires,he could fill the gap after Milligan,Jedinak take full midfield responsibility.

Needs to play at a higher standard before serious consideration. We have a number of good midfield candidates.

Looks like Rogic is on his way to Japan. Rumours seem to be getting stronger.

I think it'll be a good move for him if it eventuates, suits his playing style MUCH more than Scotland.

When he was playing league 1 for Peterborough and playing well and they pushed and got promoted into the championship they didn't think he was championship level and sold him off not sure what you can read from that though.

Yeboah seems to have made a good first impression for the U23's. Isn't going to be near the first team this season imo but hopefully he can impress in the lower division. I am very happy he has been brought in as a replacement in the U23 instead of just another body in a youth side.

Replacement for Michel was there with Kwame Yeboah already committed, and the Australian was 3-0 against Offenbach in the first game of the year to its first use. Much is certainly new to him about what we have done in the weight room, but he is also known as type very open, "praised Demandt the 19-year-old, the indeed one or two slight loss of the ball produced, but thereafter always tried pursue the ball and also total moving good. After all Yeboah has already made it after a few days, to inspire his coach for his open-mindedness. Good conditions for rapid integration.

Then had for the goals against Offenbach others worry, and that was not to say Bilal Sezer twice. From the game he met after nearly half an hour of no less than 25 meters to make it 1-0, after nearly an hour, he put out more than 20 meters in a prime Arango-style free-kick made it 2-0 after. I can usually get the gist of most of what you translate but I'm struggling here. Was it Yeboah who scored the goals? I'm confused.

He didn't score it was more about him getting time so quickly and the fact that he is seen as the replacement of the leaving Michel which means he will be playing on the left in a front three most likely.

Nah he didn't score. He started though and from what I've seen it's usually a good sign when players start, rather than be subbed on at half time in these pre/mid-season friendlies. They play again on friday morning our time.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Alistair quinn in the eredivisie

u know its amazing the percentage of players that go there and do well

Good player is Alistair, he'll learn a lot there. It's a shame it never worked out in the A-League here for him (part of the NYL team at Roar when they went back to back and WSW last year)

But hey, when one door closes another opens I guess!

Hopefully he gets a run at some point in their seniors!
