some positive comments about the a league now some celtic fans are watching it :) it's quite amusing how people from both Scotland and Australia look down on the others league  This. I remember when someone posted a link to Kilmarnock fans bashing Irvine's poor form, and the reaction on here from many was like "lol, what would Scottish fans on a forum know".

Great job finding that Moofa, he looks really good at that level. Certainly a squad with him, Jedinak, Cahill and Kennedy will never have to worry about losing the ball in the air!

Interesting reading the posts about Rogic on the Celtic Forum. Some have written him off already, others want to see more of him further up the park and feel it's to early to judge.
Hopefully he can build some momentum and fitness at victory and go back to Celtic after the WC raring to go and pushing for a starting spot.

Goal Halloran for Ddorf! Nicely positions himself on the right and a good pass sees him poke it past the keeper.

It's great to see Halloran doing well and it seems he is well and truly in with a chance of going to Brazil which would make his lifelong dream come true. I went to school and played junior football with him and even as early as u10's everyone could see that he was going to be a pro footballer. He was just born to do it.
And I was happy that he got his transfer to Germany when he did, I think the timing for him personally was perfect, he is the type of player to thrive in the intense football culture of a Germany or Spain. I felt in Australia he wasn't being pushed and now being in Germany he is forced to really fight and back his own ability which he loves.

EDIT: Fixed ;)
Edited by Bowden: 10/2/2014 10:31:16 PM He has made the team of the week a couple of times this season so I think he is certainly worth a look. I think he will be playing in the 1st Division next year regardless of where his team finish another 1st division club will almost certainly pick him up. I think at the very least he has done enough this season the make the Ecuador squad friendly.

If we're playing the same system, there are most likely Leckie, Vidosic, Rukavytsia and Halloran fighting for the right side striker position. I agree all four should be in the Ecuador game squad.

A few people on twitter saying Babalj has had a setback with his injury, nothing specific mentioned yet. Hopefully nothing major.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I think it's fair too say if he hasn't broken through by now he probably never will :/ He's been injured for virtually the whole season so he hasn't even had the chance to. He was playing and scored a few in preseason games with the first team, also scored in 2 out of the 3 reserves games he played. Now with news of a setback he's probably going to be out for even longer. They gave him a contract until mid-2017.

Amini maybe getting close to playing Quote:BVB II: Thiele and Bonmann on the way back
In the reserve of Borussia Dortmund, two long suffering times approaching its end. Forward Timmy Thiele (Photo / after cruciate ligament) and goalkeeper Hendrik Bonmann (hip injury) slowly return to team training and could be alternatives for BVB coach David Wagner in March. The same applies for midfielder Mustafa Amini, who had to take a break because of bone compression. http://www.media-sportservice.de/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=5442:bvb-ii-thiele-und-bonmann-auf-dem-weg-zurueck&catid=8:news-fussball-3-liga-mspw Edited by moofa: 13/2/2014 09:42:21 PM

Wilkshire started against Otelul, currently up 3-0 at HT. Also played against Dnipro and won 5-0.

Transfermarkt updated Belgium pro league player prices, Ryan going from 1.2 to 2.5 million Euros. Puts him as our equal second most valuable player with Kruse at 2.75 million and Jedinack at 2.5 million also. Our next best is Oar, Williams and Holland at 1.5m so a fair gap. http://www.transfermarkt.com/en/australia/startseite/nationalmannschaft_3433.html

I would've thought Bozanic would be a bit more than 500k after his first half of the season. Wilkshire was at 3 million in June but it hasn't been updated, probably less than 2.5 million now.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Halloran starting again for Fortuna, surely has to be picked in the upcoming friendly squad, if ange is to continue with this 4-2-3-1 he'd be a natural replacement for Kruse
