Denegek should have been much better not the rest of his team.

Bayern were a bit rusty but nothing should be taken away from Degenek. I suppose the quick free over the wall for the 3rd should have seen better awareness from Degenek.

2:0 Bayern. Through ball blocked by left back into path of surprised defender and Lewandowski.

Ht. 1:0 Bayern. Degenek generally sound. For 10 right things maybe 2 bits where he got drawn by the pass and out of position. Red Star also willing to attack.

Decent goal by Bayern as cross gets through quickly at perfect height for Coman. Degenek too preoccupied with Lewandowski to really have a chance at preventing that.

Red Star lose it dangerously in midfield and Degenek slides in brilliantly with Perisic bearing down on goal.

Degenek hassling Lewandowski and he cops a hand in the face from the Pole and is bleeding heavily from it.

Lewandowski swiftly flicks it last Degenek only for the left back to be there to clear. Degenek roaming well around the edge of the box marshalling the defence.

3 of the Belgrade back 4 pushing up well but the left back is keeping them onside Jason Davidson style. Degenek heads clear.

First blood to Degenek who wins it off Lewandowski as he was poised to give it a go.

Degenek starting vs Bayern. He's got Lewandowski, Coutinho, Perisic and Coman coming at him.

Leo mazis started for Celtic reserves in the game that Arzani came off the bench. Interesting to see he’s starting for the second team

Genk down 3:0 already in Salzburg. How I crave to see Vukovic in these 1 on 1 situations.

No Lyden or Folami. Williams starting debut for Portsmouth against Edwards who is also starting. No Milligan.
Iredale and Jones starting for Carlisle. Burgess starting for Salford.

Jones knocked out of the ACL by Xavi's Al Sadd. A bit flappy for the first goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGifr5B--IM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xI watched most of the Seattle v NY RB game (4-2). Brad Smith played the entire game. He was quite involved in the game, a little rusty first game back after his hamstring problems but he seemed to build his confidence as the game went on. He was still pushing forward late in the game so his fitness is excellent. He seems to be highly respected in the MLS based on the commentators and his teammates actions. Commentator kinda of alluded to the frustrations and problems of dealing with injuries of 'Brad Smith' in the context of a professional footballer - a person who plays professional football.

Haberer got the nod over Borrello. When he scored he sent straight to Borrello to celebrate as a small gesture due to his good starts in previous games. Freiburg generally have a great team spirit.

Thanks to everyone for posting updates, it's fantastic to hear about the Aussies in Denmark and other leagues that I don't follow, to get these little updates, highlights, etc. It's greatly appreciated!
