Giannou out for a month

Quote:
only good has not started preparing for "Panionios" since after Amiris Perches and Spiro Apostolou, injured and the Apostle John. The 24 year old striker suffered second degree strain and will be out for a month.

To me that looks more like the second half they've gone with their strongest possible line up at this point in time.
Seems whatever his old man did by going over there has worked.

Have to disagree, at least with the back-line. This was their first half lineup. Even the rest I think he played a few younger players who he wants to step up.

He plaed at centre back next to Baker, Hutton played at right back and got an assist. Herd would be like 4th choice right back at the moment behind, Lowton, Bacuna, Hutton and probably 5th choice centre back behind Vlaar, Clark, Baker, Senderos and Okore.

As much as i love him really cant see him playing unless we have injuries or he has a freak pre-season

Update on the Jason Davidson situation:

http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/west-brom-transfer-news-alan-7449673

West Brom boss Alan Irvine hopes to complete the signing of Australian walkabout defender Jason Davidson – once the Baggies have established his contractual situation with Heracles Almelo.

And they are continuing talks with Derby County over the potential sale of George Thorne, as Albion ponder a move for Southampton midfielder Jack Cork.

Australia international Davidson is in England after failing to report for training with Dutch club Heracles.

The Eredivisie club maintain he is under contract with them, but the left-back disputes that.

Albion have been advised to sit tight while checks are made as to whether he is a free agent or if he has a 12-month tie-in with Heracles.

The Baggies have already held talks in recent weeks but that was before his fall-out with Heracles came to light.

If he is still under contract Albion would need to pay a fee to release him.

Our best midfield is probably KEA, Westwood, Delph in a 4-3-3. Alternatively we could play with Westwood, Delph as 6 and 8, and then N'Zogbia at 10

I would love to see him start in midfield next to Delph and Westwood

Davidson really shouldn't go to West Brom. They've just signed Pocognoli from Hannover who is a decent left back and would make it more difficult to be a certain starter.

Wright played a full first half for Preston in a practice game against Liverpool which ended 0-0. Off at half time as another 11 have come on for the second.

And thats the problem with England. It's just a giant pissing contest by buying players for the sake of other clubs not having them.

A good example is what has become of Jack Rodwell at Man City. He seems to be on the move this summer however.

I can see the Davidson situation going to the CAS, which is only going to put prospective clubs off wanting him. He and his people (ie: Alan) had better be damn sure that his next move is really happening, because we all know nobody can afford to burn bridges in this game.

Brillante got a start for Fiorentina. Got an assist, nothing too special, centred the ball to Ilicic who finished well. Also put in a good cross in the second half. Played 62 minutes. Should probably watch out for Fiorentina friendlies as I think they live stream them all on their channel. Don't know how much time Brillante will get once the season starts but if I am remembering correctly Italian sides do not take the Europa league seriously at all so he could get some game time there even if he struggles to get time in Serie A.

Great news about Brillante, and also (especially!) Sainsbury.

Not expecting Brillante to get any matches this season, but hopefully he proves me wrong!
