It's weird, based on the official report he seemed to have gotten on and come off. What does the '22 for most of the subs mean, maybe subbed on with 22 minutes remaining (instead of elapsed) and taken off with 7 left?

If he can keep the starting spot and do well then he might indeed be the backup to Davidson, unless Brad Smith goes on loan and impresses.

OS aussies just tweeted that Ikonomidis got 2 of Lazio's 10 goals in their preseason game against Asiago.

Alex Wilkinson played for the K-League All-Stars last night in a Park Ji Sung testimonial. It was a game of two forty minute halves, he subbed off after about 65 mins. The game ended 6-6 so as you can imagine he didn't do all that much, but he did get to participate in a relay at halftime in which he performed quite admirably.

Amini not in squad due to a training break. Sounds like a small injury so it's best he stays on the sidelines this week. Not to worry, the 3rd league is better and better and there are many traditional clubs in it this season.

Halloran should open next Friday night in a big season opener and Leckie should start on Saturday away to St Pauli.

Time for Kruse to leave Leverkusen. Sure, he is in rehab but he should really look to hitting it at another club this season. There are very few reports and mentions of Kruse from his club.

That's my boy! Even though what looks like a first string side beat Perugia 3-0 just a few hours later, the XI Ikon was in looks to have a good few players that will see plenty of time.

Paul Katsetis' trial at Sheffield Wednesday was unsuccessful.

Came on at 72 minutes, no individual mention of him however on Blackburn's twitter or match report, but still, good minutes to get.
