Would love to see him get an Aussie marquee spot if he's fit enough to play by A-League season. He posted a picture of some team mates hiding his car at training the other day on his insta, not sure if he's training or rehab though.

Rogic a marquee?
Closer to ending up in State League than he is getting a marquee contract.

I hope that we can eventually get wilkshire to play even as a right winger because he is doing well for a very good club but there was a rumour that he was bad for team unity

Recalling a 33 yr old wouldn't exactly help with rejuvenating the squad. Plus its been a good 3 yrs since he played well in the green and gold Edited by roar #1: 22/8/2014 11:29:09 PM

I thought Bresciano was off contract? Clearly missed something... Someone care to fill me in on his situation?

Amini an unused sub for BVB II overnight too apparently. I noticed in pre-season that sometimes they don't use him much/at all if he's to be involved in the first team.
Probably wishful thinking on my part though.

He went from being a starting right back for Australia to not even making the World Cup squad due to Holger trying to turn him into a winger. Play him as a right back or as back up to Franjic.

Probably wishful thinking on my part though. Considering he has been involved in the 1st squad in pre season you would expect he is one of the 1st picks for BVB II now so maybe there is a chance he will be in the match day squad tomorrow. The other options are that he is injured or not good enough to get a run....

Halloran, Wilkinson, DeVere, Kennedy all starting
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Tuned in just in time to watch 20 minutes of German half time ads only to find out that Halloran got subbed during the break. :(
