I hope that we can eventually get wilkshire to play even as a right winger because he is doing well for a very good club but there was a rumour that he was bad for team unity

He will never play for the Socceroos again. Recalling a 33 yr old wouldn't exactly help with rejuvenating the squad.

Plus its been a good 3 yrs since he played well in the green and gold

Wilkshire is a horrible right winger. He went from being a starting right back for Australia to not even making the World Cup squad due to Holger trying to turn him into a winger. Play him as a right back or as back up to Franjic.

Considering he has been involved in the 1st squad in pre season you would expect he is one of the 1st picks for BVB II now so maybe there is a chance he will be in the match day squad tomorrow. The other options are that he is injured or not good enough to get a run....

Yep i've seen him listed in the provisional squad. Likely on the bench but hopefully they give him a start.

Whole team looked poor and clueless TBH, but thought at least Halloran tried a few times to make things happen. A bit surprised he was the first to get subbed but I guess that reflects his place in the pecking order.
