Yeh thanks Heineken. I think he will come around eventually, but the hard part will be telling him, and I feel bad if I have to pass that burden onto someone else :-k I'll talk about it to my sister.

You cant hide who you are. He has to accept you 100% as you are and nothing less. He will have to find out one day and it just depends if you want to keep procrastinating or just get it off your chest.
Talk about it with your sister and mum and organise what you think is the best way to tell him

She'll change her mind if she sees how much I want to be out. I feel like I'm wasting my teenage years hiding like this.

It's easy for somebody like me to say who has no idea how hard it must be. But I guess in the end it doesn't really matter when/how you tell him, just that you do and you guys talk about it maturely with respect. Maybe it's a bad thing to be constantly waiting for the "right moment"... it may never come.

But me and my dad really aren't that close at all, and there is no way I'm doing it alone either in case he says something bad. Cheers a lot though guys :)

I'm not trying to take the piss out of you here mate, but if you mates pay any attention to you at all and have seen how you dress, how you talk and how you behave, they know you're gay. Four or five times when we were in Sydney hanging out a georgous woman walked past us and you and david were looking at the clouds or a bus (yes, that was a cheap shot at david). It doesn't take long talking to you to have suspicions of your sexual preference raised and I'm fairly sure your dad has an idea but has just ignored the notion.
Your dad needs to accept you for who you are, not for who he wants you to be. I think your idea of coming out on facebook is an extremely volatile way of going about it in that it could go very very well, or it opens you up for an awful lot of bullying.
But what you need to remember, and this is absolutely key, is that when you're in school you have a handful of people from which to select your group of friends (a couple of hundred at best) and even if they do "turn against you", there are more accomodating people who will be much better friends out in the real world, when you have the whole world to socialise with instead of a handful of people in highschool.
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't whipe your friends on the couch.

Well I'll have you know the majority of the people I've come out to had no idea. The people I hang around at school will have an inkling mainly because I never say anything about chicks, not my mannerisms, and most people in my grade will. I have people in my grade who will back me up, and there is a minority who will pay me out but the majority will be against them.
I realised the Facebook way was a bad idea, and am in the process of discovering a new way.

Can someone tell me how the fuck I can download the new MW2 maps? It says look in the PS Store and they're not there

But still, I'm not really sure how you can break it to your Dad, but if you talk to your mum she'd know your Dad best and'll be able to tell you the way to go.

I'm hell pissed off though, I had an argument about the world cup bid with someone, they said I was wrong, got a stack of recent articles bout it and he still thinks he's right. ](*,)
