I said it last week and I'll say it again, Leckie will carve up B2 this year. That first game of the season, it reminded me of when Leckie was at a higher level back in the A-League. He has progressed a lot, and will continue to do so.
Everything I've read and heard from FC Ingolstadt suggests they know what they have. Will go down as one of the better transfer deals they've ever made (context of transfer needs to be taken into account).

Clearly Scotty does not have age on his side, but if he has a fruitful season and is in form, we simply can't ignore him.
He is an intelligent footballer, and in the front-third, we just don't have many like him.
He's a smart footballer, and Ange likes smart footballers.
If he is up to the highly demanding regime, who knows.

The only thing he lacks if he is to play Ange's style, is a point of difference.
He is not overly quick, he is not overly strong, he isn't great in the air, on the ball he is ok.
Just nothing that stands out to displace a member of the squad at present.
