Pretty hard to get picked for a team you don' play for.

I think his club play early Tuesday morning in the other (or, another) Moscow derby.

Halloran on the bench again

Davidson not in the squad. Is he injured or are they off him?

Saw a training report from this week which said him, Ideye, Gamboa, Samaras and maybe one other had to do some individual training working on their fitness after their late transfers. Ideye and Gamboa are on the bench still and most people have been relatively happy with Pocognoli so far so I think he would also be on the edge of the squad even if he was fit.

Babalj has finally made a match squad (bench). Don't read into too much though as the current manager is just a caretaker. Unfortunately Sainsbury is on the bench too.

At best Davidson will make the bench but even that might be a stretch now. Really was a dumb move. Even players who are proven internationals can struggle in this league. They are not interested in development they want the finished product and Davidson is a long way from that. No doubt he has potential but he needs game time to improve and he won't be getting it.

Weird for sains... Thought his club was killing it? Why mess with a winning lineup?

oh and Kruse is back!

Kruse on the bench along with Son and Kiessling. Even Oztunali is preferred! Let's hope they get up 4:0 after 60mins and Robbie can get some game time.

There was talk that he did have a little niggle, and due to his injury last time they were being cautious. No need to burn a player in the early phases of a season. Good that kruse is back on the bench at least as well. Wouldn't worry about Davo too much, as stated by many including myself, he is very young. Give him time, he has the pace and technical ability to succeed, the epl is a league that takes some time to adapt to. Not to mention he's not played in the uk, the type of football and dynamic is totally different than what he is used to.

If Wilkshire keeps it up he has to be considered. My pick for RB is a fit and hungry Rhys Williams but that's a pipe dream. He's always impressed me there. Franjic is ok but he's not playing much and we saw McGowan isn't the solution. I wish Herd all the best.
