Cornthwaite came on in the 76th minute and scored twice (87', 90') to make it 3-3 after being 3-1 down. Wilkinson and Jovanovic played 90 DeVere presumably out with injury... again
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Wilkshire starting Leckie should be starting. If Ingolstadt win they go 5 points clear at the top and still undefeated.

Behich played a full match at LB for Bursaspor overnight, in a 5-0 win against a club in the relegation zone. No goals or assists according to Whoscored but good signs at least! :)

Utrecht lost 5-1, Oar subbed off on 82' after providing the assist for the hosts' only goal. Poor result but they were up against it as their right back conceded a penalty and was sent off on 22' with Utrecht already 1-0 down.
Mat Ryan played a full 90 as Club Bruges drew 2-2 with Gent. Oscar Duarte was sent off for Bruges on 52' with the team 2-1 up.
Sainsbury subbed on at 70' for PEC Zwolle with his team 2-1 down at home, his partner in defence then equalised five minutes later as it finished 2-2.

This year he's started 4 of 6 games, scoring three goals for Lazio in the Primavera (the U20's), usually on the left or right of a front three. Last year he got 5 goals in 27 appearances. No data for assists. Probably stacks. Edited by paladisious: 27/10/2014 07:56:57 PM

Would I be correct in saying the reason he didn't start the other two games was because they give all their youth a go to sus potential? :-k

Maybe injured, possibly rotation, no idea.

Actually neither transfermarkt nor the official site I linked above have lineups for Lazio's 6th game of the season against Latina on Saturday, so maybe he played that too, after all.

A little concerned that a lad I was getting behind after playing all but two U21's games for Stoke last year, Alex Grant, has only played 26 minutes after going on loan to Macclesfield Town. They have the equal second stingiest defense in the Conference, so maybe it'll be hard for them to displace one of those CBs.

Always tracking well at younger ages, exposed to senior football early. Always one I hoped would enter the youth NT's set up, given our ever questionable defences every generation of the past few! He seemed a valued talent, when snapped up by Stoke, so hopefully that comes through via this loan opportunity. He being a 1994-born talent means he can quality for the coming Olyroos generation, so if he's seeing more regular senior football exposure by the time of those qualifiers, then no reason why he can't force himself into consideration, atleast. But it needs to start here, at this level and work his way to featuring at a slightly higher level. Or else he won't deserve a look-in ahead of the likes of Curtis Good, Cameron Burgess, Connor Chapman, James Donachie, Jordan Elsey and others.

Ikonomidis played 80 minutes in the Lazio v Latino match and scored the second goal of the match with a diving header. They won 3-2. He has started all but the first official match against Napoli back in mid September when he was injured.

With that, and the fact that he also started and scored in the Supercoppa Primavera match against Chievo on the 1st of October makes five goals in six games in all comps for Lazio U20's, and (unless Simone Palombi also scored in the Latino game) makes Ikon their joint top scorer in 2014/15. <3
