Ikon's value has gone up from €88k to €100k literally over the last few hours as I've checked his Transfermarkt profile. This thread's doing? ;)

Well apparently they still don't have a reserve league in Italy between the Serie A and the Primavera, so I guess the next step for Ikon is the pine for senior team or going out on loan.

He is doing all the right things for a crack in the first team, wouldn't be surprised to see him go out on loan first though.

Ryan with an absolute howler at home to Gent. Made a couple of good saves and they're still 2nd in the league so hardly the end of the world.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Davidson starting in League Cup. Luongo playing in league one. Kilkenny starting and Wright not in squad. Langerak with two good saves just now. Might see Kruse tomorrow night in Cup as with Leckie.

Dortmund 0-3 away from home and a clean sheet for Langerak. Langerak is better than Ryan.

Ignore two full Belgian seasons of stunning saves and league-leading performance to focus on the one error Maty has had in a long period of time, but forget that Langerak makes similar blunders for Dortmund almost every time he plays.

I had a look and Langerak has made 21 appearances, so let's say almost every time is 90% - he's made blunders in 19 of those matches that have led to goals. I am curious, does anyone have stats on how many clean sheets he has achieved?

Langerak is better than Ryan. Good to see for him. Dortmund have been rubbish lately so this will help him a little.

Proven wrong multiple times but you still say it  Does a long period time include the multiple errors he made that cost us points at the World Cup? It's funny that you can never just accept an error from Ryan or Jedinak and instead go on the attack against other players  Edited by jlm8695: 29/10/2014 03:01:20 PM

Ryan and kalac.
Impossible to put pick which one put in the worst effort in the last twenty years in a socceroos shirt.

It's too early to write Mat Ryan off. But I reckon Langerak is mentally tougher than him. I reckon Ryan is fine when he's doing well, but he's mentally a cardhouse when things go to custard. Whereas I think Langerak is a "big game player".
Things like technique, talent and game time are very important. But if a player isn't mentally tough enough in the big fixtures for their country, that's a bit of a problem.
But as I say, we can't write Ryan off after one poor tournament, but I do think Langerak got short-changed.

Lol big game player u mean when he was subbed on against Napoli and smashed his face into the goalpost?
Or the time he makes his debut for Australia against Brazil and gets hammered.
Or the other two chances he gets he makes comical errors which result in red cards lol.
