That makes the Viagra thing kinda make sense for blood flow and it is probably not a banned substance. Interesting. These drugs have been used to prevent altitude sickness by reducing the pressure of the blood in the lungs with minimal benefits but the main treatment, acetozolamide is banned as its a diuretic. Surprisingly, sildenafil is not a banned substance. It's not barred? According to WADA, no. I believed you, it was just another erection pun. yep , he got one up on you there..

Reading some stuff about Blackburn Rovers, does anyone know what has happened to Hyunga Tanner?
i think he's another one who can play for the Olyroos. Apparently he was doing quite well for their under 21s last season.

David Vrankovic is playing for Vietnamese club Binh Duong at home to Shandong. 0-0 at half time.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

They lost 2-3. Vrankovic missed an open goal (85min) when the Chinese team tried to put everyone offside from free kick. 7 Vietnamese players were in front of the keeper. Vrankovic who wasnt offside headed wide. Edited by scott21: 25/2/2015 12:00:45 AM

From the Mongolian 7th tier to the English 6th: Thomas Strain came on in the 81st minute for Hednesford Town last night.
James Meredith played the first half in that loss against Luongo.
Tom Beadling played in the U21's 1-1 draw with Man United, and Gallifuoco played the full 90 in their loss to Colchester's U21's, and Demitriou wasn't in the squad.
Callum Elder had a full game for Mansfield Town on Saturday, too.

Empoli start to hit form and move up the table just as he arrives. It's an 18 month loan so plenty of time but won't be easy to break into that side at the moment. I am not too worried about Brillante. Has been mentioned by the coach the him not speaking the language makes it harder for him to be picked, he is hopefully picking that up and he is a player who will always trains well (Pizarro at Fiorentina even mentioned it) so I don't think he will be forgotten easily. Also as you mentioned he has plenty of time to break through. Edited by moofa: 23/2/2015 09:43:22 AM I don't get this. It would be interesting to hear just how far behind he was with the language. He has been over there a while now and he knew he was heading to Italy before he left Australia. Surely that's all you would be doing outside of training. Footballers have a LOT of spare time... I hope this isn't indicative of a broader attitude problem. I do doubt it is though as he seems like a hard worker.

Even as an Australian with Italian heritage, it takes time to adapt to the local environment over there. They speak so much faster than most Aussie-Italians would here. There are also issues with cultural nuances that he would also not be familiar with. It takes time. Vinnie Grella once said in an interview he had no idea what people were saying to him half the time when he moved over to Italy. It took him time to adapt.

I have italian heritage too and sometimes when I'm watching a newsreader speak a million miles an hour I get lost easily and I have been around it my whole life in some form or other. That's why I just wondered how far behind. Wasn't meant to sound like I was having a go. He has the advantage of being able to completely immerse himself in the language though. Hopefully he hasn't surrounded himself with english speaking people as that's the sure fire way to not learning a new language

Preston North End won 1-0 overnight. Wright played the whole game and Kilkenny came on in the 79th min.
PNE are currently in 4th behind Swindon in 3rd. MK dons in 2nd (and automatic promotion) are only 3 points ahead of PNE and 2 ahead of Swindon but with a superior goal difference. PNE have a game in hand though.
Looks like we have a good chance of at least 1 of the young guys getting up to the championship, hopefully Mk Dons or even Bristol city drop the ball and both can get through.
