i know ive been jumping up and down about tom rogics impending return to the pitch. buuuuut

celtic v st johnstone -- this is the lowest ranked game that celtic have had for the last month. he is in full training. kris commons is out with an injury. the squad is generally a bit worn after an epic month of fixtures. AND paddy power has rogic as 15th most likely to score first. pretty good considering there will be 20 outfield players on the pitch at kick off.

Giannou played a full mach as his side won 2-0 in normal time but the match went to pens as it was 2-2 on aggregate, they lost 3-4 in the shootout. His is at about 5:40, wearing the captains armband. Don't know if he started as captain. didn't contribute to the normal time goals though

I don't think Rogic had much choice in the matter. He is clearly a "product" of the Nike Academy and their ties with Glasgow Celtic are well documented.

Unfortunately for Rogic, he is a victim of this corporate scam and there is little he can do about it until his contract expires or Celtic cut him loose. As long as Rogic cooperates with Nike, the cheques will keep coming.

I don't think it was picked up but Babalj played a full 90 for Jong Zwolle on Monday, scored and was involved with the second (possible and assist) in a 2-0 win. Wouldn't really see this as dropped as he came off the bench for the first team on Saturday and at full fitness you would think he could do a short stint with the firsts and a full youth game. Also the players who didn't get off the bench for the firsts all played a full game.
