90 minutes, Daejeon 2-2 Jeju , fought back from 1-0, conceded very late and almost lost it at the last second. Edited by playmaker11: 21/6/2015 09:59:49 PM
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Whilst on the surface that sounds like a reasonable claim to make, he's rated by guys who watch the K-League week in week out so I wouldn't be so quick to make an assessment. He could be the type of inconsistent player that turns it on some weeks but is woeful most of the time - I have no idea, I've never seen him play myself.

Halloran apparently leaving Fortuna D'dorf Quote:According to a report of the "image" Fortuna Dusseldorf will need to plan for the coming season without Ben Halloran. Accordingly, the Australian left wing changes in the second division and will announce his new employer in the next few days. The 23-year-old arrived in 2013 from Brisbane Roar to Fortuna, where he still has contract until 2016. In the two seasons in Germany Halloran came in 37 second division games (eight goals) for Dusseldorf, and six inserts (a hit) for the U23 in the Regionalliga West. http://www.liga2-online.de/bericht-ben-halloran-verlasst-fortuna-dusseldorf/?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=twitterfeed

Aussie Champions league ties Celtic (Scotland) - Stjarnan (Finland) Trenčín (Slovakia) - Steaua București (Romania)
Unfortunate for Trencin. Going of Coefficients Steaua is the worst team they could have drawn. I wasn't expecting them to make the CL group stages but if they lose the first round they drop right out while if the win the first round then lose in the second the go into the Europa league qualifiers.

Halloran's going to Heidenheim. Europa League ties. AUK Broughton FC (WAL) v NK Lokomotiva Zagreb (CRO). Winner plays PAOK. UE Sant Julià (AND) v Randers FC (DEN). Winners plays FC Lahti (FIN) or IF Elfsborg (SWE) Dortmund are in the 3rd qualifying round.

Covic used to play for Elfsborg. Well remembered there. Another nice connection in that match up.

Only playing 16 games and having some easier ties will have definitely helped but still a good sign and should hopefully give him some shout for starting games or get other clubs interested. Weidenfeller came in 2nd kinda showing the mediocrity in the rest of the teams performances.

Blossomed at the end of the first round to the main goalkeeper, had after the winter break on the bench - and faced the end of season again between the posts. Justified his operations mostly with strong performances - of all things in the German Cup final against VfL Wolfsburg (1: 2) However, he returned from a rather weak performance. Record: 16 games (all graded)

Cahill scored again and had a hand in the second in a 3-2 loss. Some pretty terrible defending for a couple of the goals
Goal at 2:10

Wilkinson and Jovanovic both played 90 minutes in their respective Cup matches. Jeju into the quarters, Jeonbuk out. A few shots of Ibini
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

On friendlies, Katsetis played 26 minutes for AS Trencin, subbed off and then have missed the next two so I am guessing he might have an injury or he has made a really bad impression.

Cap him before Bosnia get him. Im against the "cap em before someone else does" movement. If he is ever good enough to play for Australia he should earn it. If he wants to play for Bosnia, do it.

He makes the Groningen squad so we should select him for the Socceroos?

Might be time for Babalj to move on. He's back at AZ but I doubt they'll have any use for him.
