Yeah, Rogic isn't in their first XI. He'll be on the bench i'd imagine, might get 10 mins at the end if he's lucky.
Happy to be proven wrong though.

I was under the impression they both play CAM. Johansen has played a lot for Celtic.
Edited by quickflick: 19/8/2015 05:58:35 PM In the SPFL, Deila plays a 4-2-3-1 with a high defensive line and 3 Attacking Midfielders that largely stay central and rotate between positions to drag defenders out of position. For European games, the attacking midfielders generally are played as orthodox wingers and the midfield drops a bit deeper. This also happens in some SPFL games when Celtic are finding it hard to break down a set defence and start looking to draw out their opposition and create chances on the counter instead. The two DM's are usually one Deep Lying Playmaker who sits deep and looks to pass his way forward and a slightly more advanced and physical player who provides a link between the two midfield lines with his sharp movement in the middle of the pitch as well as aggressively press the opposition midfield in BPO. These roles are generally filled by Nir Biton and Scott Brown respectively and both IMO are totally unsuitable for Rogic. In the Attacking Midfield, we have a gluttony of options. Rogic is competing for game time with Forrest, Mackay-Steven, Armstrong, Commons and Johansen. All of those except Forrest are capable of playing in the Playmaker role however Johansen and Commons are Rogic's main competitors as they are generally only played in the middle and the others are generally used in the wider roles. quickflick wrote:Out of interest, who's the best CAM out of Commons, Johanesen and Rogic, do you think? IMO, the pecking order is - Johansen, Commons, Rogic. That said, we haven't seen much of Rogic for the past couple of seasons, along with Commons starting to look more and more injury prone. So, maybe this season Rogic may pass Commons - Maybe. quickflick wrote:How do they match up in skillsets? Are they quicker than Rogic/make better decisions in a hurry? Is their passing more accurate and penetrative than Rogic's passing? Are they better 1 vs 1 than Rogic? IMO, both Johansen and Commons are better than Rogic when it comes to things you mentioned, especially decision quickness and making. Though, as mentioned before, Rogic has had no football for almost 2 seasons so you really cannot campare to be fair. At this moment in time, I personally would still pick both Johansen and Commons ahead of Rogic, but can see Rogic possibly challenging Commons for Johansen's backup as the season progresses. Also, Johansen can play deeper along with Commons playing wider, so it isn't out of the question to have all 3 on the field at the same time. Unlikely, yet still possible.

Celtic up 2-0. If it keeps going this way, Rogic should see some time.

Commentators lapping up Maty's recent save. Ball hit across keeper. Maty dives to his right at full-stretch and pushes it onto the post.

Yep. Great save.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Top save. Great reach and then it hit the post. Saved his defender's blushes there. Rubbish loss if possession. A great punch from a corner and an aussie rules mark as I write. Applaus from the fans.

Been very solid. It's weird wanting Valencia to win but Monaco to do a bit so Maty can show his stuff

German sky complimenting Ryan big time. He isn't surprised Langerak is number two but rates the Roos keeper stocks highly.

Monaco goal ruled offside. Great save initially from Maty anyway.

Offside bitch and he stopped the first attempt brilliantly from point blank range. Monaco ppushing so we'll see more action.
