Sparta currently up 5-1. Kenny Dougall should get the full 90.
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

Maty showing his class with his distribution. Still 0-0 after 30 mins.

Valencia concede due to some shocking defending. Nothing Maty could do about the finish.

Yep good strike, isn't much Maty can do about that.
Shocking defensive display by Valencia.

Good to hear. I'm not watching but that defence has been shocking every time they concede.

Valencia equalise through Negredo just before half time. 1-1.

Juric coming back from an injury, Da Silva probably not yet match fit, assuming he may play a couple of games in their reserve side first. The question should be why isn't Griffiths being selected for the Socceroos? No thanks. Sure his defensive and positioning attributes are great but he offers nothing going forward. He's an average passer and is pish with the ball at his feet. Great A league player but would get found out at Int level, especially with Ange's system Yeah he's so bad with the ball he's only playing 90min every week in holland.

Griffiths was an amazing deep-laying playmaker for CCM a couple of years ago. Thought he should have been called up that season, let alone now he's a starting XI Eredivisie player.

Valencia down to 10 men. Still 1-1 with 7 minutes remaining.

Finishes 1-1. Valencia were very sloppy both in defence and attack.
Decent game for Maty. Didn't have much to do outside of the goal.

I agree that he should have been called up at CCM/Perth, but just because he's starting in a certain league now, doesn't make him a better player than he was before necessarily. Either way, I'm happy as for Ser Rostyn Clegane.

Griffiths time will come very soon, especially with Jedinak struggling for game time. Griffiths is probably a better passer of the ball and playing against better opposition week in week out is only going to help him develop further.

Griffiths goal. Looks like a training drill pulled off perfectly. He was interviewed after the game with the video in this report but it doesn't seem to be working for me http://nos.nl/artikel/2055037-roda-jc-pakt-ook-volle-buit-bij-az.html

Juric coming back from an injury, Da Silva probably not yet match fit, assuming he may play a couple of games in their reserve side first. The question should be why isn't Griffiths being selected for the Socceroos? People argue that the Championship is of a better standard than the Eredivisie so the same can be said about Kilkenny. Don't want to start a debate, but my personal opinion is the Eredivisie is a level above the championship. As for Kilkenny, his problem is he's spent most of his career in League 1 and isn't even a regular starter for PNE right now. Griffiths is more versatile, defensively stronger, and playing more regularly. If he can continue to play well for Roda JC I can see Ange giving him a call up soon. Especially with Jedinak's lack of recent game time and Milligan's move to the Middle East. Edited by Higashi: 31/8/2015 02:10:27 AM Yeah I don't have an opinion either way. I don't watch enough Eredivisie to make an educated call. I watch a fair bit of the Championship. It's one of the most underrated leagues in the world.

How the hell does a defensive team leave a player the size of Rostyn completely unmarked during a corner? It's ridiculous!

Roda up to 4th. Don't think they realise what good signings they have made. Edited by TheSelectFew: 31/8/2015 02:10:21 PM
