cool, will definitely give it a read. Was really disappointed with his season last year. Initially I thought it could be a great move and he could be given a chance but even as they were doing well there seemed little movement between Swansea's squads. With that and seeing they were in a lower U21 division it seemed like he was just brought in to try and get their U21 side in a higher division and there was never going to be a chance for him to play first team football.

I know Swansea fans who watched their U21s were surprised he was released. Actually they did offer him a contract to stay after his contract expired but he I guess wanted to go somewhere with more guaranteed first team football.

Roda JC Kerkrade 0-3 win in Groesbeek De Treffers
Roda JC Kerkrade tonight in the second round of the KNVB Cup tournament with 0-3 win at De Treffers.

Head coach Darije Kalezic changed his attitude to the match against Feyenoord in two places. Jens van Son replaced the injured Farshad Noor and Tomi Juric took place in Richmond Boakye, who was not usable due to a suspension.

The first danger came from the camp of Roda JC. Hicham Faik thought Kornelis to surprise goalkeeper with a lob from 30 meters, but goalkeeper Kornelis parreerde the ball just before the goal line. With 18 minutes allowed Tomi Juric, after a nice combination, build from 20 meters. He shot narrowly wide. After 31 minutes it was the it occurred to Sankoh which pegelde the ball towards the far corner. Kornelis goalkeeper made the save. From the ensuing corner was Tom Hyfte close to the opening goal. His shot was too soft. After 39 minutes of play, Roda JC opened the scoring. Hicham Faik utilized a 20 meter free kick. With a placed ball in the corner, he Kornelis keeper no chance for 0-1. This also was the halftime score.




In the second half Roda JC came strongly from the dressing room. The first chance after the break made an immediate goal. After fine preparatory work Gyasi, Tomi Juric was who scored his first goal for Roda JC 0-2. After 58 minutes of play Meeuwsen appeared to score the tying goal, but his shot sailed wide of the goal from Benjamin van Leer. 20 minutes before the end Griffiths could throw the race permanently locked. His slider, however, was straight into the arms of goalkeeper Kornelis. With 78 minutes played, Tom decided to Hyfte, after a beautiful combination with debutant De Silva, the match: 0-3. Substitute Sarkouk seemed to save the honor for De Treffers, but his free kick ended up using the inside of the post in the hands of Van Leer.

Ipswich were playing a reserve side this morning with 11 changes from the weekend so don't think that because Oar got a start vs Man U he will be playing in the league
