Really goes to show how important it is to keep playing regularly. Spent a couple of seasons with teams fighting relegation in Scotland which imo is far better than junior football or just bench warming even with a quality team like the Ikon is doing atm. Hard to disagree with that. Wonder if he could make the step up to a bigger club now? Maybe an English Championship club?

How do guys reckon the Australian squad will be like for the confederations cup? I feel quite optimistic in us getting out of the group stages.

He only just played and made his debut, maybe come back to this 'issue' in a months time to see if he gets more time after his Europa display

While I generally agree on the positive Irvine sentiment, 2 assists is very generous. The first was a off the post which was at least close to a good volley and the second was intercepted but fell to a teammate, also nearly gave away a pen at the other end

Why would he want to go to Sydney and get spanked for half a year when he could come to Victory and fill an important role and win trophies? :-k

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.
