Yellow for Halloran. Our wing stocks look pretty good. Oar needs to get back in.

Bright news with Smith and Elder at left back and Juric is a bright spot. Rogic has actually exceeded expectations considering he was on the outer not so long ago.

Game needs more De Silva
Roda concede an own goal and are under the pump by a 10 man Heerenveen.
Griffiths has been commanding, but chooses to back pass whenever under just a little pressure.

It means Brilliante is a shit RB, DDS can cope cos he's a good ball handler, u fuck up in his position and ur fucked. But Italy if u fuck up @ RB and lol just what happened to him, goal.

A-League RB = shit, because they're never under the pump, never put under much pressure and most can rome around like a chook with its head cut off. Read my reply? [-o< cheers

Championship is great for bank balance, but often the style of play is not conducive for developing good international footballers.

They need a lot more coaches from Spain, Holland, France, Belgium, Portugal and Germany coaching in it and it will improve the style of play. Good Aussie HAL coaches would be better than the Pommy gaffers too.

i know there are a few continental coaches, but they need more to replace Pommy gaffers.

Those gaffers putting Aussie players on benches would be bottom of the table in the HAL if they coached here.

Signs aren't good for Taggart. He was given chances at Dundee and couldn't take them. If he can't crack it there, he'll be an average A-League player for the rest of his career. I hope I'm wrong.

Would like to see some of his stats from his time at Dundee such as chances on goal and total shots. They are total dross at the moment and i doubt he had many clear cut chances from their lower NPL quality midfield

Just goes to show that the A-League isnt that far behind the mid tier leagues. When two blokes who were nothing special and an 18 year old with some potential can go over there and tear it up, it is a good reflection on our league. Hopefully their success will pave the way for others

You're tarring all the championship clubs with the same brush. While there may not be any English, Italian or Spanish internationals playing in the championship there are certainly plenty of other next tear internationals playing in that league.

You also need to remember that the championship isn't a development league. Its a performance league, these are the teams pushing to be part of the elite. The other end of the table are those teams battling to survive and not fall into league one. If the A league had promotion and relegation in whatever form that may be, the tony walmsleys of this country at HAL level would not be attempting to play the attractive style of football they are now. Where there is no risk of relegation you can do whatever you like and attempt to build something over 2-3 or even 4 years.

I cant accept that all English 'gaffers' are inferior to their Australian counterparts as the Australians aren't in the pressure cooker environment that their English counterparts are

The Eredivisie has dropped in quality significantly over the past few years. Even the big clubs like Ajax cannot compete financially with the big 5. That is why i refer to it as a mid tier league, it is nothing more than a development league these days

Which is great for Aussies, because lets face, most players leaving the A-League will not be polished enough to end up in a big 5 league. Send them to the next half step up in the Holy Trinity, where they have a proven track record of playing and developing youngsters, and like Ryan has done, play out of your skin and step up to the big time in a big 5 league.

Win-win for Australian football.

Roda highlights, really good touch for Juric's first. Da Silva's pass also good but the defender keeping the striker onside was really to blame for that goal.

i'm the same as you...there almost no highlights of Dundee utd games...Dundee utd has score very little this season (13 goals, 18 games) the player who Taggart sub of the most (Bodul) scored no goals in 600 min, Taggart was a loan player , new coach came after Dundee sign him on loan deal ....doesn't mean Taggart didn't miss he chance

Taggart is back at Fulham as of monday anyway
