Gersbach's assist at 2:46 http://www.aafk.no/free/videoId/im4j99l2ecbo1dtwpw9r436h8
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

I'm on the train to Valencia right now and the guy across from me reckons Diego Alves is being sold to Sevilla so Valencia can promote Ryan and Jaume as the two up and coming stars.

On the Gas @OnTheGas1999 No Ha Dae-Sung, Nathan Burns or Muriqui in either squad today. I wish I could claim to know whats going on at this club...
I think the above sums it up. No way Burns stays if Tokyo don't sack Jofuku soon. Might sack him tonight when Gamba whack them but he has already bottomed the club out.

does the Coach speak English? Who knows? There'd be a translator minimum. There has been at bit of #Jofukuout getting mentioned. Reading between the lines I think Muriqui might have arrived a bit underdone but Burns was one of the best in the ACL. They get to the last 16 and he does not play him in the SIPG matches and they bomb out on an away goal. Bizarre.

Leicester have signed Hannover keeper Ron Robert Zieler. Maybe Schmeichel will be cashed in on? What's up with Schwarzer in his support role?

Carter subbed on for Cluj. No Amini, I think he's suspended.

I think I found the best tweet about Gersbach and his assist. It is translated from Norwegian but still makes perfect sense Quote:Morten Stokstad @ morten Stokstad May 29 View translation The prelude to Alex Gersbach was so musical piece that it is almost at the level of both George Gershwin and Johann Sebastian Bach. 3-1 Rosenborg.

Ikon pissed off Salernitana this week. Weirdly in an interview on the Socceroos site he said: Quote:It’ll be fantastic for me to run out there if I’m given the chance against Greece as it’s my grandparents heritage http://www.socceroos.com.au/article/chris-ikonomidis-ready-for-englands-superstars/19g5gjjcnez011ph99crupz64a#sthash.YwKmFfkE.dpuf Australia had a gentleman's agreement to return Ikon after the England game to prepare for their relegation play off. The FIFA dates run until the 7th I think so Australia had no obligation to send him back. The Play-offs are on the 4th and 8th. I find it quite strange and unprofessional that this hadn't been brought up and made clear earlier but reports from Italy said his manager was furious with him. It should all clear up as Ikon tweeted he was heading to rome yesterday. Edited by moofa: 30/5/2016 01:43:04 PM

Better translation would be "the build up play by Alex Gersbach was so musically good that it's nearly on the level of both George Gershwin and Bach". High praise. Sources on twitter mention that Hajduk Split have permanently signed Anthony Kalik on a long term deal, nothing has been mentioned by CCM about it though.

Any matches on tonight? Would also just like to add that this will be the last time I see any of adrtho's posts due to the amazingness of mcjules and his Chrome plugin here, and the freedom can be felt immediately. This thread will be so much better.

PAOK play again tonight against Panathinaikos but I doubt Antonis will feature. He's been on the bench a lot lately. Hopefully next season will be the beginning of something beautiful.

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update on how Gersbach is doing in Rosenborg so far. You can follow our forum, and in particular the discussions regarding Gersbach here: http://www.rbkweb.no/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7221&start=350To cut it short; we're thrilled with him. He's got 11 apps in total for us and so far 6 out of 13 in the league and of those 6 games he's been in the starting line-up 4 times. More than we anticipated because we had two left backs from before. However, our very own Grand Ole' man, Mikael Dorsin have been troubled with injuries and also made the decision to retire this week. Gersbach's other contestant for the left back is Jørgen Skjelvik. He's not far from beeing the fastest footballer worldwide, however, what he makes up in speed he lacks in technique and control of the ball. Because of injuries on other players Jørgen have had to step in elsewhere, leaving the back for Gersbach. And he's taken it with brilliance. In each game he playes he makes great contrubutions in the offensive play, with his speed, his abilities 1 vs. 1 and last but no least his passes into the box from along the sideline. He still has much to learn in the defensive play, but his speed makes up for poor positioning, and with his age he got loads of time to improve. His last game against our biggest rival Molde proved he is ready to be a regular in the starting line-up. The media have been slow to take notice, atleast to my opinion but after an excuisite assist finalized our 3-1 win in the biggest game of the year they've been more interested. Now we are only concerned about how long we'll manage to hold on to him. There are scouts at pretty much each game and with his play it's only a matter of time. In 2014 we sold Costa Rican international Cristian Gamboa for 20 million NOK (3,3 million AUD) to PL-side West Bromwich, and we believe once Gersh goes it'll be for atleast that amount. Gershbach is way better at much younger age. And that is just without participation in any e-cup. We're in for the Champions League qualifiers this season. If we get through there the price will probably skyrocket. In any case we'll at the very least play Europa League if there's no surprises. Hope that was worth a read. You are very much welcome back in our own forum. -Macha Edited by Macha: 31.5.2016 07:45:00 Edited by Macha: 31.5.2016 07:47:23 Edited by Macha: 31.5.2016 08:17:21

thanks so much for the updates it sounds like great news all round! My understanding is your club is about as strong as celtic in the spl. Is this correct? If he is playing very well for a celtic level club at such a young age that is very exciting we have another promising leftback who is getting some games for liverpool and played for english youth teams. It will be interesting to see the competition between these two players. My money personally is on gersbach to do better but if one of them becomes a good finisher who knows maybe both can play for the roos
