Why don't you tell me how many of the 20s were Croats?

Then why don't you go through the rest of our squads and do the same for them?

Easy to pick a year where we didn't do too well. Why not look at the years just before that where we made back-to-back grand finals and won one of them?

As for Vedran... we've had this argument before. You've found one video where he has made a mistake. Wow. I could do the same for the likes of Buffon, Casillas, Hart etc. Would it make them bad keepers? I've watched Vedran constantly for about 5 years now. I think I'm in a better position to judge

Have you actually watched him more than once or twice? There's a reason he won NSWPL goalkeeper of the year a few years ago as well as winning the first NYL with Sydney FC. Has also had a few stints in the A-League with 3 different clubs... but I guess that was just more "barrow pushing" from Kalac and co. ey?

Last season while he was still at United he saved us in no less than 3/4 games.

He had one very poor season after he had facial surgery as well as problems with nerves in his arms. Took him a year or two to recover from those injuries.

I've been watching him on a weekly basis for the last 5 years. You've seen him play once or twice and have one video.

Did you ever stop to think that maybe the likes of Popa, Kalac and Milicic pick up these players because they're familiar with them? Not because they're Croatian, but because they've worked with them for a long time? You know it happens all over the world, yeah? Coaches often move clubs and bring a number of players with them. Sometimes they even happen to have the same nationality :shock: They must all be racist.

Either way, good on our favourite sons for looking after United's interest if that's what they are actually doing. United should always come before Sydney FC/WSW/anyone else.

Markovic - 20 years service
Thompson - 10 years
Speers - 10 years
Bosnar - 10+ years
Tonic
Janjetovic
Glavas
Etc

All United youth who have spent the majority of their careers at United. Too bad Rudes has ruined it this season

Not a single club in this league can compare to our record of player loyalty in the last 10 years.

Only Marconi can compare in terms of player development historically.

If its the quality, it is about on par with the A-League especially considering the circumstances.

If its the violence, it hasn't changed.
