xsydney olympic knocked out by st george last night Mt Druitt by Mounties Some association clubs knocking out NPL clubs are the NPL clubs not taking the Australian Cup seriously anymore, or just the fact they are underestimating the lower league clubs? nevertheless good to see. Probably both. It happens everywhere in the world with cup competitions. Keep the upsets coming!

x+xAnyone know what is going on with the Second Division? If we have clubs like APIA, Sydney United, etc going to the Second Division, will they field an U21s squad in the NPL like the A-league clubs do? that's a good question, but i doubt that will happen. the U21s would play against the other div 2 teams. i think the NPL would need another re-structure once this eventually happens. well its been quoted the NSD is starting next season........as per Johnson in this https://www.sportingnews.com/au/football/news/national-second-division-plans-wont-undermine-league-men-it-aims-sustainable-start/codya68yzs5pv5twavrfdlpxAgreed good question tFl re what happens below. I would hope the NSWClubs if all "approved" going into the NSD that to date is APIA Marconi Rockdale SO SU Wolves are replaced by 6 Clubs below (not U21's) and the same occur below etc x 16 Club comps. Lets face it this will have countless more U21's in teams in any case which is great.

x+x+xhaven't watched any Marconi games but have to say, so many years so much promise whats on the books for bugger all...... Sutho we turned up at Lambert Park the other night. Missed APIA's 1st but we settled in the remainder. Mate your midfield just isn't there enough...... APIA were better on the ball, won more 2nd balls and linked far better than yours hence the scoreline ending 3down. I would have never picked APIA being leaders at this stage - mind you there's only 5points diff down to SU in 7th. Loonnnng way to go yet. we are a shambles at the moment, 1 win from 5 at home is simply not good enough. if we keep this up we wont make the 5 this year. yep not good at all. They better start this weekend against Marconi....... the last time we beat marconi at their home ground was 2015 i believe. Not looking good at all.

xSutho, no worries. I played on it at a guess about 10yrs ago. It felt and looked very worn out - my son played on it just 2yrs ago, it looked worse. Anyway Rd5 coming up. Sutho's fellas welcome SFC. APIA Wolves will be tuff game. SU need to bounce back ! huge one against BC. Marconi SO should be a cracker. shocking performance against Northbridge. Hopefully a wake up call, if not, Blacktown will romp us.

xthats the 3points, execute..... Sutho when was the last time that ol syn pitch was updated ? that grass you used to have was a long long time ago. Nice to see the Wolves carve up of the Bulls, welcome not. Nice 3points for APIA that. Sorry for the late reply, Late 2000’s from memory.

xInteresting results over the 4 divs..... Hey TFL, you know whats doing at Fraser ? heavy loss that. I walked away at the end of last season. Mid table at best this season. This is the problem with automatic promotion and delaying the restructure.

xHappy with the 3 points at sutherland, that pitch is woeful to say the least, needs to be re-laid. is it going to be the same old story with marconi? Looks like Syd FC will cause teams problems. I thought we were unlucky not to come away with something, thought we were better in the first half, SU clinical and experienced won out. The pitch is in the pipeline to be upgraded I’ve heard, after the clubhouse is completed, as bad as it is for a synthetic pitch it’s 10 times better than the grass we used to have.
