looks like the young fella broke his ankle in the last 10 minutes, was stretchered off....so end of the season for him i reckon........
That's no good. Wish him a speedy recovery. I'm no fan of the synthetic grass, in fact I think the whole concept is disgraceful to the purity of football. Do you reckon the syn pitch had anything to do with his ankle injury? As for BWE it appears in the last few weeks they haven't brought their A game. Perhaps focusing on waratah cup? Anyways an upset was always on the cards at fartan football fark. Edited by aussiesrus: 10/6/2013 09:39:06 AM so far so good....no broken bones.....waiting on the scan now.....dislocated ankle and knee pop......fingers crossed....;) .... black & blue swollen and ugly.....[-o< [-o< [-o< Good to hear it's not as bad as first thought. Best of luck.

Comfortable 4-0 win against South Coast today with United being up 4-0 at HT.
Great win considering both Rockdale and Olympic lost which moves us up to 4th.

Hopefully that Rockdale game was a bit of a turning point
Pava is back and LG and Mileski return soon. Combine that with the signing of Haydar hopefully means that we'll be challenging for BWE and Sutherland for the top spot.
Looked like Yuichi went off with a hamstring injury though. Hopefully it's nothing too serious

Sutherland are in form!
BWE is the most inconsistant team.
I tip SU to win it
and Marconi will miss out on the semis
Blacktown v SU grand final

 Couldn't stop laughing when I saw the CCMA - Demons final score. I left with Blacktown up 2-1 and figured they'd get home in the end

How does a top 3 side lose to the bottom of a table side? Has me perplexed.

bonnyrigg has alot of work to do and hopefully luck goes our way.....
the scoreline was not a true reflection of the game... the red card in 51st really destroyed us.... having 4 sutho boys attacking 3 boys at the back very unlucky.... oh well thats football....
demons getting synthetic pitch.... have heard a small rumor from a few bwe board members that they are looking at it aswell... i prefer grass but whatever the club thinks is the best option in the long term i will support
on waratah cup i think APIA will cause an upset

on waratah cup i think APIA will cause an upset What has been happening at Bonnyrigg. I suspected they focussed on the waratah cup and dropped the ball a tad on the comp side of things and have lost a little momentum. With the poor performances of their 20's and 18's which has a knock on effect the future is not looking so good for BWE. Sutherlands success on the other hand is expected as they owned the 20's and 18's comp last year and this has translated into a much stronger first grade squad this season. A Clubs success or failure depends highly on their decisions made with their youth. Choose unwisely and things spiral downward. Choose wisely and the future success is assured. Watching the round 16 highlights I can see why Central Coast Mariners thumped Blacktown City. A reality check is in order at City. Totally embarrassing for them  Glad I wasn't there to watch it. Gerry Harvey personally took me shopping Sunday which was a far better option :d City have announced they are installing artificial turf and the pitch will be dug up and replaced in September. I think Sutherland will win the waratah cup. Hard to go past them on current form. Edited by aussiesrus: 4/7/2013 05:42:17 AM

hey mate thanks for the reply
this year in my opinion their is no depth.... zonjic and spruce out for a while really hurt us considering they are our best at the back.... mansueto is a gamble and showed vs sutho with the red card which fked us
the 18s are complete shite... i know of players who were cut at the trials and this year are playing at sydney united, sutherland and demons.... but according to the coach this was the best their was (complete bullshit) watched 18s a few times not one forward can even get a shot on target... free kick takers - rubbish, corner kick takers - rubbish and so on...... the 20s i think is understandable.. honestly the lads play some good football but inexpirence 60% of the boys are still eligible to play for 18s apparently... positive is i can spot 4-5 players in the 20s squad who are on the right path (han, todoroski, feller, hatfield and maybe 2 more who i dont know names off)
the youth policy at bwe needs to change in my honest opinion for the clubs advantage...
if sutherland play like they did on saturday apia have a strong chance..... scoreline reminds me off last year when we beat marconi 4-0 away but the scoreline was BS... i was expecting them to dominate the whole game yet we were the ones constantly going forward and holding possession... this was even in the 2nd half when alex got sent off.... just wish the red card was in the 1st half not early into the 2nd
oh well rockdale next week massive game for us

oh well rockdale next week massive game for us Have to say this about the Bonnyrigg team........... they have a great team on paper and should be more consistent, both times we have played them they have spent to much time utilising professional fouls and whinging to the ref.....not sure about any older players here, but when I played we got our instructions from the manager, then we had to execute them....the main problem I see with Bonnyrigg is the gaffer at Bonnyrigg spends 95 mins barking orders and instructions to the players, as simple as "touch forward" , "play back", "turn", "switch" and so on........ I spoke to a ex-player from Bonnyrigg who said that's why he left....... sure the manager / gaffer need to give instructions , but more to do with shape, tempo, tactic not basics....a good team think on their feet and are capable of executing the coachs plans and instructions.....I think Bonnyrigg players need to play their natural game and stop listening to the barking dog
