Now having my own kids (first 2 football playing boys just as I still playing at 53) near on 21 13 I won't take them to any PL games what for 4. (in regards to SFC) the new crowd are already getting up my goat 5. I'd really like to revisit PL but not until they identify its time to get up with the modern world, new supporters don't want to be around unsettling scenarios whilst your watching a game of football - we are not like the origins of the past, the old timers are getting older where is the new breed of supporters coming from to watch these games and help it grow ?
I wont bother continuing.
Your post basically says "Something happened back in the day that I didn't like so I dont attend State League games anymore. Because of the past, I make assumptions about the present and dont take my kids to the games"
My judgement is based on your own post. I'd say the judgement is pretty spot on spot on. and there are many more idiots like him in this day and age.

Saw a posting on a Facebook page and few comments
Apparently this is the latest in terms of transfers in the league
Confirmed
Harris Gaitatzis to Sydney Olympic
Ray Miller to Blacktown Spartans
Rumored
Klim Gjoreski to Rockdale
Marko Jesic and Milorad Simonovic to Bonnyrigg White Eagles
Brad Boardman to Bankstown City Lions
Nenad Vekic to Blacktown City
LEFT
Shane Webb to Melbourne Heart
Niko Tsattalios to Greek 3rd division
Very interesting..... heard Spartans are going all guns blazing in their new recruitment drive, want a top 5 finish
Was a minor rumor about Tseka/Flea taking over at Bonnyrigg and Bomber moving into Technical Director but that has been found out to be nothing but crap

Quote:NSWPL Banter Page 27 minutes ago Rumours doing the rounds that (surprise, surprise) the CCM ''Academy'' team will now not be relegated...
And that FNSW are trying to fast-track a Sydney FC ''Academy'' team into the comp for the start of 2014 along with potentially NPL 2 promoted side St. George making it a 14 team comp next year...we'll see how that pans out. very interesting...

Was on sporting pulse checking out 20s results..... i noticed that NONE of Marconi's youth teams have made the finals this year which is the first time in a while..... Poor form by a club which was a powerhouse at all levels..... Only 20s and 1sts made finals
Sooner JP leaves the club the better for the 1st team.... with the players at his disposal and the crappy play they produce nothing short of disgraceful..... watched them many times this year due to a close friend of mine playing for them... play like crap and hope to the footballing Gods they get a last chance on goal... disgraceful

CCMariners must be relegated or what does FNSW stand for, what I have heard around the traps is the they will scrap relegation in the youth divisions, no relegation for 12-15 year old, well this makes sense.

Edited by Duke@roar: 24/9/2013 08:43:15 PM yeah lets change the system for the club who has done nothing at 18s-20s-1st level..... bankstown went down according to this system so did parramatta..... difference between those clubs is that they actually earnt their way up to the nsw premier league while ccm was given a free ride.... when we saw they were useless then they sign 1-2 a-league players in a bid to keep em up..... they should go down..... let em dominate in the super league and than they can come back but knowing football nsw they will bend over for the ffa.... oh well i guess ccm will be whipping boys again next season

Juniors can stay up if the seniors are relegated and vice-versa The system has been in place since the start of the season. It was also made clear in the application documents. So the question is - why SHOULDNT they be relegated? CCMA out!

The only change I might make is Rooney for Younis. Aside from that, what don't you agree with?
Having 3 players from Sutherland and Rockdale and only 2 from the Premiers is a bit questionable though 8)

JC is a fantastic keeper. He was great the few games I saw him in... cant really comment on others.
Is the keeper your only issue? Who would you have as the #1 then?

He's on the bench. The fact that his side finished well outside finals football probably went against him
Dunno about Gan. Havent seen enough of him this season to comment... I very much doubt that you've seen more than 2 Rockdale games yourself. How does that leave you in a position to judge whether he should or shouldnt be there?

Trifro ahead of Ucchino ? LOL
Chun and Ucchino are miles ahead of these midfielders.... Gan/Sim are a joke.....Oygur ?
Younis scores what ? 19 or 20 goals + 6-7 in cup this season and dosent get a spot ?

Edited by srbin22: 30/9/2013 01:22:20 PM How many times did you watch Tricky play? Once? Here's the problem with these Team of the Year things... most fans have only watched their own side play regularly so are always outraged when a player from another side is picked. You haven't seen the others play enough to be able to comment. Tricky was the key reason why we finished the regular season on top. I dont think he missed a game all season, chipped in with 5/6 goals from midfield and assisted numerous amounts of others.

Ucchino is ahead off Trifro 2-3x Whats next Liam Reddy is better then Nash ? Maybe at drinking but not on the pitch Edited by srbin22: 30/9/2013 02:42:45 PMEdited by srbin22: 30/9/2013 02:43:37 PM

Nah mate, you'll notice that I haven't criticised the team apart from suggesting that Younis may have been unlucky to miss out based on his scoring the record. I specifically haven't criticised it because I don't watch enough of other teams to be able to judge
You and srbin clearly feel that you are so I've assumed that you watch a large number of games not involving the Spartans
And  at using 20 second highlights to make your judgements. That's hilarious
Glavas, Cardozo and Nikas has around 50 goals between them. If they've managed to do that while "injured a lot" then it's even more reason to have them there
Having said that, I don't recall Cardozo being injured much apart from the semis. Pretty sure that both he and Nikas played over 20 games.
Any side that finished well outside of finals contention should be content with being represented by a player in the TOTY

Just checked the stats page and it says they both played over 20 games. Either the stats page is the wrong or you're making stuff up

Funnily enough, both Cardozo and Nikas have played more games than Carlos... and he has only played 2 games more than Glavas
But according to you the 3 of them shouldn't be there but Carlos should be #1
Contradicting yourself a bit

Contradicting yourself a bit well carlos was on duty for the wanderers that's why he played less games....... and as far as injuries i am forming my opinion over the past few seasons.... no need to get pissy.......they are just opinions....what is it with you guys...take it personal and get nasty...... sorry if i don't rate Gan....
