Edited by thupercoach: 28/3/2014 06:51:40 AM yeah well the issue there is Sydney fc have asked all of their first graders, including most of their youth team, whether signed or not for next season, to continue to train with then first team and then not to return to the npl. as such, whilst a good idea, it wont be happening.

With the FFA Cup, that's understandable. Sydney have let players out on loan to their former clubs. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the NYL players go out on loan. With Triantis and Grant coming back from serious injuries, you could do worse than send them out on loan to NPL clubs for match fitness before the FFA Cup starts up.

good to get the win and our season on track, even with a handful of players still missing. Does any body know the rules about refeering 'changing decisions'? Referee awarded a penalty, Glavas has already lined the ball up about to take it, a few BWE were protesting, so the referee goes to the linesman, and awards a free kick instead. never seen nothing like it in my time....and from what i know you cannot change your decision. just another poor performance from FNSW refs. i seriously do not know how some of these refs get gigs. luckily that didnt effect our 3 points.
Not a Phase, Not a Trend, SYDNEY UNITED till the END!

Must say the referee at yesterdays 20 s game had a very good game didnt miss a call top effort same with her linesman which is very rare
Crasy game olympic down 2 nil at half time
Hit the lead with 3 goals in 10 minutes
Wolves find a equaliser and the winning goal in the last ten minutes
As for first grade the officials there also did a great job
They did miss a back which should of given Olympic a indirect free kick
My problem with referees are to be fair They give a yellow to one team and a worse foul they only give a free kick

Wolves really do look fantastic heading forward toward A-league expansion, another 1000+ crowd at the best football ground in the country not in the A-league too even; though they're headed for a lower-table scrap and got pumped by 5 to Btown City. Edited by 4wanderer4: 1/4/2014 09:44:39 AM

Good crowd in Wollongong
Hearing good things that Chris Triantis might get some game for United this week more likely to be in the 20s

Hope you didn't put the bet on Macedonia.
The Greek Warrior has turned out to be a disaster on the field. First goal completely his fault.
2 games for 2 comfortable lossess.

That was painful to watch
We were horrible to watch
Well deserved win to the Saints
Several players for Olympic were really bad
Rale Rasic players thought he would enough to win both games
I didnt put any money on them winning
Different story if i was in my late teens he he
Parra winning on friday night and Liverpools win took some part of anger towards Olympics performance yesterday
Bring on Marconi next week
On yesterdays performance we should lose next week
I dont believe theres no much difference between top and bottom teams and on ay given week top can beat bottom team

MACEDONIA wrote: Will state league clubs be given more than 3 k if they sell a player to the A league
Well yes actually, it's 10K for a players first professional contract and it's 6K for a players 2nd professional contract, when switching directly from an NPL club. Re WSW sale, indirectly, yes. The FFA provide funding to the Federations to run various programs, including the NPL and elite pathways programs (NSWIS or whatever it's called these days). WSW sale would contribute to the FFA bottom line, and therefore enable such payments to be made to the States. If the FFA was broke or losing money, they wouldn't be paying out to the States. And would the A-League exist without a broadcast deal? No it wouldn't. Neither did the NSL... So what point are you trying to make? Why the chip on your shoulder about the a-league. This is the State League area...
