We will be struggling with you, club seems to have tightened spending, we look to have a pretty good starting 11 however we will struggle big time if we get a couple of injuries and/or suspensions.

I think former Rockdale player Taku(?) is trailing with us also, could be a good pick up.

Sydney Olympic getting very tight, have signed plenty of young players and not any major players. I think it is due to the PPS aswell as them trimming down their budget by ALOT.

Sydney Olympic still owe plenty of players money from previous seasons, would go as far as saying it is the worst run club in the NPL 1 competition. Since Tsekenis & Papoythis walked the club has went down hill big time, very sad, was at a few of Olympics games earlier this season would be lucky to have 100 people there, passionate ? yes however sustainable don't think so.
Talking to a parent of a junior player, saying the club is more focusing on producing juniors so they can down the track get large lump sums, like Blacktown City did with Maty Ryan, i think in his contract the Demons get a small percentage or so.

Out: Hooper, Markovic, Shirai, Soeda, Danaskos, H Gaitatzis, Hatzimouratis, Ozbey In: Tomelic, Cindric, Triantis Possible Squad 2016: Henderson, Egger, Tsattalios, Sorge, Madonis, Fondyke, Sorge, Keir, Angel, Tomelic, Cindric, Triantis - That's 12 players. and the rest are kids from the 20s. Seems like an "OK" starting 11, will need a lot of luck to get out of the bottom half of the ladder, and a few decent signings in the off season...

H Gaitatzis still possible in staying not at Apia yet asking for an upgraded contract still undersided small chance he will stay M Gaitatzis has also signed Spyrakis not sure yet playing for Sydney fc youth could also be out as his there captain
Guthier who was a Olympic player 2 years looks like he will also be back
There a few overseas players trying out
A couple of signings and we will be okay for mid table finish

Taken from APIAs facebook. Looks like a decent pre-season schedule. How are they getting Guangzhou Evergrande out? They've just won the Champions League. I suppose it's entirely possible they may draw an Australian club in the Champions League, but isn't it a bit presumptuous to assume they'll be in-country for that in February? The first matchday of the group stage isn't until the 23rd IIRC. Will definitely get along to see that regardless.

fantastic to see then get Guangzhou out here. I'm sure they will be doing a tour and will face other clubs?

I think APIA has the wrong info.... I know for a fact that Piksi & his assistant Zarko Durovic contacted BWE for a friendly February 19th and will be playing 3 other teams, all non A-League. Wont be playing on Synthetic so they will be playing at FNSW barring BWE who has natural grass \:d/

Would be good preperation for the likes of Victory, Adelaide and ourselves, but once again, just don't have the time for it. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if Sydney hosted a behind-closed-doors friendly with a whole bunch of our youth/reserves. We've done it before.

It'll be a very strong challenge to all the NPL clubs. I'll try and get out to at least 1-2 of them.
