SU 1-0 Blacktown
Game was played at a terribly slow tempo in the first half. Only a slightly more interesting second half saw SU take the lead with a well worked goal and then BC forced 2 great saves from the keeper.

Neither side seemed too keen to give much away in the first half which lead to a fairly cagey half without any clear cut chances. United particularly looked to be happy to get to half time at 0-0.
The last 30 minutes we really stepped it up. Could've had another one or two while Manos kept Blacktown out at the other end on two occasions. Overall, thought we were slightly the better side across the 90 mins.
Next two weeks are away to Wollongong and then Sutherland. Even away I'd say that anything less than 6 points would be disappointing considering the form we're in and where they are on the table.

Well deserved 3 points. @ RSC Supporters how shite were Bradasevic & Makrillos. Overall, Bonno were better on the night. First half - we were playing on a different field. To get back to 2 all, hit the post with a free kick and then concede off a quickly taken free-kick was a massive momentum killer for us. From the stand, looked like the ball was still moving when the free kick was taken, but we'll wait for the replay before blowing up, it could well have stopped. Bradasevic had 1 embarrassing slip up all game (albeit costly when you're a keeper). The previous week he had a 3 on 1 save at the death to give us the win against Parra. Makrillos at time can over do it, seems to always beat the 1st and 2nd but tries to beat the 3rd and 4th defenders as well. Overall, happy with the boys coming back from 2 nil down, and had Petkovski and Urosevski played, it could very well have ended differently. Anyways, on to next week against Hakoah at Ilinden. Tough game, we beat them 2 nil last time, but they started much better, hitting the post a couple times. Being 5 points clear of 4th place gives us a bit of breathing space, but need to keep pushing on.

Our GK Manos, has to be one of the best GK's in the league, pulled off some fantastic saves in the second half, he has given us 12 points this year i believe. happy with the 3 points, and a nice 4 point lead, bring on the gong this weekend

Another loss for us against manly on Saturday night, Manlys left winger number 11 tore spreads off us all night and was one of the best young players I have seen in NPL for a while. Our boys however look disinterested and it seems the coach has well and truely lost the dressing room unfortunately. Tough couple of weeks ahead with Blacktown and Sydney United back to back.
Lucky for us our 18's and 20's are doing well or we would be closer to the relegation battle. Also was good to see Tom Glover at our game supporting the boys and chatting with fans, he seems like a great kid with a good attitude.

Was expecting Canak to have a big game, was pretty quiet IMO bar the tap in. We done well considering we started off with only 3 defenders at the back, felt it was very risky. Just quietly, how does Tolgay still have that stomach Lol bloke has great speed for somebody who is about 100-105kg easy.

Tolgay's been battling leg injuries all season that have hammered his fitness. That was his first game back in about 5 weeks after injuring himself in our 20s. I reckon he'd be under 90kgs at the moment, it's deceptive as he's pretty short. Most footballers that height are probably 70-80kg. Proportionally, if he was 6 foot tall and had that shape, he'd be 100Kgs easy. Hopefully we get to see what he can do in 1st Grade soon...

FNSW didn't show the quickly taken free kick for Bonnyriggs 3rd goal in the highlights. Ref obviously stuffed up.
In our previous game against Parra, they showed our quickly taken freekick that led to the goal, as the ball had stopped.
Exactly the same situation just selective editing to cover their mistakes...disappointing

It’s not the first time highlight packages like that have been edited. I remember a few weeks ago, when the highlights for our match against BWE were up, the commentator said “Ohh what’s with United and penalties every week” Shortly after the video was taken down, re-edited and the commentator did a new voice over saying óhh that’s a clear penalty, a bad challenge by BWE defender” something along those lines.

But in all seriousness, what's with United getting a penalty each week?

Glen Trifiro was spoken to 3 weeks ago but like most players these days he agreed terms and the next day was shopping around to find a better offer Dont think we are keen on him anymore same as his brother These players i mentioned are all from overseas Wants this new rule ffa has you need to wait a month since your last game to me allowed to play Look forward to our Rwandan player playing next week as for the German only be short term contract

The wait you speak of is all in the regulations. I thinks it's to do with overseas clubs not responding, or players going from professional to amateur status

How much we talking? probably desperation from the spartans, cause of the relegation battle, they probably know, once they are down, they will need a miracle to get back up.

From what our club told us him and his brother were offering themselves as combo deals but also their clothing brand would need to be included in the deal LOL.

Quote:Rockdale City Suns Supporters 16 hrs · · Sport The video that FNSW conveniently cut from the highlights... With Rockdale having come back from 2 nil down to tie up the match at 2 all, having then struck the post with a free kick, all the momentum was our way. We were coming home with a wet sail. Then this howler from the Ref. The player doesn't even attempt to stop the ball from continuing to roll before playing on. Bonnyrigg player that receives the pass then scores. They take the lead 3-2 and its a completely different ball game. Absolutely disgraceful!!! Poor refereeing decisions like this cost everyone involved, except the referee. Players lose money. Considering how tight the table is, Clubs, in this case Rockdale firmly battling in the top 3, potentially lose thousands in prize money. The ref still gets his pay, and still gets his pay the following week. When the players attempted to point out that the ball had not stopped, the ref didn't care. Upon seeing this footage, will an apology be forthcoming? We aren't holding our breath. I remember Urosevski scored an offside goal in our 3-0 loss to Rockdale in 2015, maybe karma ? Lol Rockdale talking like that referee fumble cost them the game, please.

Didn't you blokes go into meltdown earlier in the year about a Blacktown player only receiving a yellow instead of a red? Maybe this one is karma...lol
