There has never and probably will never be another musician like Prince. He wasn't once in a lifetime, he was a once ever. We were just lucky he was in our lifetime

I couldn't name a single Prince song, but it's sad to see people pass away so young.

That may be true but I'd bet you'd be singing along to many of his songs if they came over the radio - songs that you just know, but don't know who they're by. Kiss is probably the best example of this.

Actually, the Spice Girls can also cark it as retroactive punishment for having started the whole rot in the first place...

I'll say this as a pretty upset Prince fan - give Beiber 10 years and everyone will have a very different opinion of him. As much as I hate him as a person, he can sing, write and play his own instruments, and in these respects he's 100 miles ahead of most of his peers on the charts.
